Demonstrations of steam powered apple press for those able to postpone a visit to the shop before the apple pies disappear. Also, wonderful condiments and preserves. Strawberry Rhubarb one of my favorite non-apple offerings. Crowded on weekends but worth parking on the road (if necessary) and taking a walk. The weekend we visited, a goat cheese maker was selling wonderful... More

We've been going here for so long that we remember getting cider and donuts and sitting in the car to eat them! The place has grown so much and they're still great. Only downside is that it gets crazy busy now. We tried going with my boyfriends parents a couple of weeks ago and the place was so busy that... More

This is a great place to visit if you're a big fan of anything apple or if you're spending some time in Mystic and are looking to take a little side trip. I would allocate about an hour to peruse the general store, enjoy cider and doughnuts and watch the apple press demonstration. Just make sure you use the bathroom... More

Great demo of the steam powered cider press - 11:00 and 1:00 on weekends. Tasted some hard ciders, drank some mulled hot cider and bought a few items in the store which is stocked with everything from hard cider to jams, meal starters and kettle corn.

The people and place were the most unfriendly encounter while in Mystic. Not worth the time or cab fare!!

The best of autumn in one place-- apples, cider, fresh donuts , music. A joy for us all. Apples, pressure from weights, juice flows, cider-- Amazing!

I loved this experience. Even though it was raining the smell of the apples and the fall leaves made it a fantastic experience! I tried the hard cider and the apple wine. My kids loved the apple donuts. The gift shop is cute and maybe some of the things aren't made on the property, but it is still charming and... More

We went to Clyde's Cider Mill on my birthday weekend . When we got there it was so busy we parked a quarter mile down the road. We enjoyed the autumn day, and the leaves at their best. Music welcomed our arrival. We joined a tour and learned cider mill process history. People were so friendly in line...we met a... More

The smell of apples was so thick when you walk inside and smelled so good it was almost as if you could swallow it. Just kept inhaling the smell was devine. They are so polite and want to help you. They don't just have cider, but apple wines and jams and other goodies. Just all around a great place to... More

I visit Clyde's every year and it never disappoints. The place is quite popular on weekends, so if you are planning to visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, be prepared for lots of people. They do cider pressing on weekends, and this tends to draw in the crowds. The lines can be long but you get through them pretty... More
