Stopping here during the fall is a must! Best donuts, cider, and apple crisp around! Come early thought because it gets packed quickly. Definitely worth the wait though!

We made a special trip out to B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill for the cider and cider donuts and we were not disappointed! The shop is super cute and you can tour around the mill. We took our cups of cider and delicious donuts and enjoyed them on the porch in nice chairs. It was really a great experience!

My sister used to take me here when we did outings to mystic! I miss doing these things with her and I miss living in CT! I remember the Cidar being so delicious and refreshing! Makes me think of the fall time, I get all teary eyed thinking about it,

My wife had been here previously in the late November timeframe, and she had a good visit and it was quiet. We went earlier this month and it was very crowded - lines out the front and back door. Thankfully, we felt it was worth the wait. The cider was excellent and so were the donuts. They also sell their... More

We usually go to Lapsley Orchards in Pomfret CT RT169. I saw the ad in our Madison Source local newspaper and was amazed by the "old cider press" and talked my wife into going here instead of Lapsley Orchard. The cider is not cider and after 2 weeks in the refrigerator I had to throw it out ; it started... More

We went on a Saturday and got there before 11a.m. for the first demonstration of the cider being made, it was busy but you still were able to see everything, take pictures and then after sample the hard cider (for those over 21 years of age). There is the general store to purchase fresh made apple cider, apple cider donuts... More

We went here on a busy, sunny Sunday afternoon. We wanted to see the cider press demonstration, so we looked up the demo times on their web page beforehand. We arrived about fifteen minutes before the demo started, so we were able to find a good place to watch. Definitely give yourself extra time for this part. We sampled their... More

We went during the week and I knew that we wouldn't see the cider press. It is just an old house that serves as a store. You can buy jams and jellies and some other items. Prices are more expensive than the shops in Mystic Village. We bought some cider wine but haven't opened them yet so I cannot rate... More

Very nice place to take the family on a chilly weekend morning. Cider and donuts we delicious. Plenty of homemade items for sale. Hard cider and wine tastings available also. Was easy in and out when we arrived; ran into a couple later in the day who said the line to get into the store was wrapped around the building.
