Very informative displays and the people are willing to explain more if needed. Worth going on a summer day with children.

One of my favorite spots. A great place to take your family. Young children to teens can find enjoyment with many activities here. The upcoming nighttime Halloween walk is fabulous and a must for families with children 8-12 and older children can enjoy it in groups. Remember to bring your own flashlight!

We were hoping for a much more elaborate nature center since we were visiting Mystic, CT. This place was very underwhelming. Even though it was only $8/adult, it was expensive since we did not see much of anything. We merely looked at some stuffed animals and watched a 5 minute film about a meadow. We walked some trails, including the... More

The Nature Center in Mystic aka Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will be a relaxing and educational experience for the entire family. Don't expect the stimulation, waiting or prices of Disney World. This 65 year old non-profit attraction has open the minds of many to the sights and sounds of nature!

The nature center has very basic animals like toads and turtles. The paths are not maintained and have thorns that you have to push through. There was no guide at all and despite the photos of children netting fish, none were around. I went with two children (5 & 7) the cost was $18 (8 for an adult, 5 each... More
