If you are in Mystic this in not to be missed. Gallery exhibits are constantly changing with the shows and the staff are very informed and courteous. Don't miss, when they put on the exhibit by the school children, you will be amazed at the caliber of their artistic talents. Parking is free

I do not think I am the person to ask about this place. I am not really into art and I had 6 teens with me. The teens were bored and it seemed like dozen of other art centers I have been in.

Interesting and eclectic collection. Good way to relax and spend a non strenuous hour. Jan was more enthusiastic than I but that's how it goes. $3 each suggested gratuity. 1 hour free parking if you ask

Our friend held her wedding here. It was a lovely venue. It was five rooms of beautiful, pleasant art. And it was set up amazingly for the wedding with a view of the Mystic River from the back. Center has its own parking lot, which was extremely convenient for all of the wedding guests. Otherwise, only street parking is available.

Very nice, semi eclectic display of what appears to be mostly semi-professional artists. Most of the artwork was for sale, and priced anywhere from $200-2,000, with one piece topping the list at $21,000. The permanent collection was the best of the bunch. It's definitely worth stopping if you are in the neighborhood. Admission is free; there is a donation box. Street... More

On a beautiful site on the Mystic River, just a short walk from the hubub of downtown is the Mystic Arts Center. It features a very cool collection of contemporary art ( not a lighthouse or seagull in sight ). The Center also features some terrific musical entertainment and lectures - open to the public all year long, stop by... More

Mystic arts center is a great local asset. Well-curated shows and great classes for kids and adults. Well done social events and fund raisers.

This is a large venue, well-situated along the banks of the river with parking in front. Well worth a visit, as you stroll about this otherwise very gift-oriented shopping district.
