We had a great afternoon sailing out of Mystic on the Argia. The crew was knowledgeable and attentive. Good information about what we were seeing as we sailed out the river and in the ocean along the coast. It was really cold out on the water so they handed out blankets for everyone. Easy to coordinate for a large group.... More

I took 30 senior adults on a 2 1/2 hour tour on the Argia. I rented to who ship for our group (it was very reasonable). It was a lovely sail. The Captain an crew were friendly, knew the area, and amazing to watch as they launched the sails. Our trip was very smooth. Definitely will be back.

The Argia schooner cruise in Mystic was the perfect way to spend a few hours in that beautiful village. The crew was fantastic - personable and knowledgeable. They explained not only the places we were seeing as we sailed the Mystic River and into the Sound, they also demonstrated how a schooner works, and even let us "help" - not... More

and head into Long Island Sound aboard the Argia, a two-masted gaff topsail schooner. The two and a half hour sail passes through the Mystic drawbridge and a railroad bridge on the Mystic River. The 3 person crew is well-versed on the area and the sights along the shore and in the river. Drinks and snacks are included, and you... More

We booked an afternoon cruise in October. The cruise is well organized and we had beautiful weather. It was nice to be on the water an see the land from a different perspective. My wife was a little cold but the supplied blankets. The water was a little choppy due to a bad day the day before, but I love... More

The Argia schooner cruise on the Mystic Harbor was a very "special" way to celebrate my son, daughter-in-law and 16 and 19 yr old grandsons birthdays. We even got a chance to cross off one of the listings on my husband's "bucket list" when the skipper gave him a chance to actually steer the schooner for a few minutes. Having... More

My husband and I had a delightful time on the sunset cruise. The staff were friendly and knowledable. There was only 6 passengers but we had a great time on the cruise. It was cool at night so it may be best to bring a jacket or sweater in Sept. The sunset was amazing. what a great night in Mystic!

We had an awesome afternoon sail on the Argia. The crew was friendly, knowledgable and fun! There is plenty of room, snacks and drinks and even blankets for the uninitiated that don't know it can get chilly out on the water. (Especially in September.) It was so worth the money, be sure to tip! These folks work hard while still... More
