If you enjoy sailing, then you will enjoy this trip. The Argia has two masts and was built in 1986. It will hold up to 49 people but had less than that number on the day we sailed. The crew will answer any and all questions concerning the ship and were very proficient in raising and lowering the sails. All... More

We had a delightful time on the cruise. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable about the various landmarks on our route. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, a must for everybody.

Capt Amy and her crew, Amber and Jason, took us on a wonderful tour along the Mystic River and out to the sound. My husband and I had sailed on the Argia a few years ago, and remember a wonderful sunset cruise. Last week, we were in Mystic with my cousin who was visiting from FL and had never been... More

I would highly recommend an Argia cruise if you are in the Mystic area and want a fun unique experience. We went on the sunset cruise and it is a two hour scenic cruise that travels through the harbor and out onto the ocean. I would remark on how the crew was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable, which they were,... More

I had great time on this schooner tour around the mouth of the Mystic River with my wife and son. The crew was great at explaining the sites we saw as we traveled into the sound outside the river. They were very knowledgeable of the area. I'd never been on a sailing tour before and would do it again because... More

This 2 1/2 hour cruise left right on time. The crew of 3 capable women were knowledgeable and pleasant. We met a couple from PA before boarding and the 5 of us had a great time. Soda and water along with packaged snacks are provided and if you like you can also bring along your own beer or wine.

We went on the sunset cruise to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It was a warm overcast evening & the sun hadn't quite set by the time we came back in to dock but the experience was great. The staff was very welcoming & interactive. I've been on a similar cruise in Newport and I enjoyed this one much more. The... More

Great time on the Argia, was only half full for the midday sail due to Sailfest and wish we had brought some cold beers with us, because it was a sunny windless day which made for slow going and deep tans...but definitely something we would do again especially if we can catch a windier day. Crew was very nice, even... More

Really enjoyable time out on the boat sailing around the area. The staff was really friendly and happy to answer questions. They also pointed out some points of interest but didn't talk so much that it was annoying. It was a nice day with enough of a breeze to make the trip a sail. The ship itself seems well maintained... May 31, 2015 - While at downtown Mystic Seaport, we saw a flyer in a window that advertised the Argia Scooner day and sunset sails. So, we called them the next morning, May 31, and booked a sunset sail, which started at 5:30pm for two hours. The web site is: ArgiaMystic.com. It was a gorgeous night for sailing. The schooner...
