A birthday present from my wife turned out better than I expected. Very nice cruise, informative even if you know the area. We had a perfect summer night which. Of course helps. Crew is very friendly, they provide cheese and crackers, lemonade and a large cooler to keep beverages. Bring a jacket, we went out very warm night, but needed... More

This is a beautiful sail boat. The cruise narrated as you pass and see real cool historic spots.. I promise if you are not into historic .... Just don't listen but the beauty will be amazing without the back ground.. Peace full sailing .. Great sites to see, great captain and crew. Bring your lunch and picnic on board ,... More

Having " been there and done that " in Mystic, we looked for an alternative to the usual aquarium and old sea port tours. Argia Cruises was highly recommended by the innkeepers at Stonecroft Country Inn where we were staying. Our mid day cruise was perfect! Warm and sunny with not a cloud in the sky. Captain Amy and her... More

Beautiful ship, professional friendly crew & great weather! Watching the two bridges open to give passage was interesting. Sit back relax and soak in the spectacular views of historic towns, marinas and a wonderful ocean sunset. The Argia website accurately describes what to expect, read first to be fully prepared. We will definitely do this again.

The Argia schooner was one of the highlights of our trip to Mystic. In my opinion, any trip to the area should include this activity. We took the Earliest trip which began at approximately 10:20- to almost 1 PM. It was a wonderful start to the weekend. Capt Amy and her crew were very pleasant and professional. They shared much... We went on the sunset cruise and it was excellent. After motoring down the river and entering Long Island Sound, the sails were raised and Mother Nature propelled us. The crew was very informative and well trained. Snacks were served and you can take your own adult beverages.

If you enjoy sailing, then you will enjoy this trip. The Argia has two masts and was built in 1986. It will hold up to 49 people but had less than that number on the day we sailed. The crew will answer any and all questions concerning the ship and were very proficient in raising and lowering the sails. All... More

We had a delightful time on the cruise. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable about the various landmarks on our route. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, a must for everybody.

Capt Amy and her crew, Amber and Jason, took us on a wonderful tour along the Mystic River and out to the sound. My husband and I had sailed on the Argia a few years ago, and remember a wonderful sunset cruise. Last week, we were in Mystic with my cousin who was visiting from FL and had never been... More
