It was very small and def not worth the $30 regular admission. While it did offer a sizable amount of animals and fish, it was distractingly focused on "money sucking". The aquarium had six major sections: 1) the outdoor path, which was built entirely around their beluga whale exhibit and other than that was sparsely filled in with a penguin... More

Just my wife and I no kids and we loved it. It wasn't your typical aquarium and felt more like an open zoo. The Sea Lion feeding show was a blast and the penguin encounter was well done.

I LOVE aquariums and actually used to volunteer at The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA, so I love going to view sea life whenever I get the chance. The Mystic Aquarium is a very nice, small aquarium. The Beluga whales are so beautiful and seem really friendly as they swim right up to the glass and "smile"... More

It was about 30 dollars to see a couple of exhibits. Any thing really interesting you would have to pay an extra admissions fee. Not my cup of tea.

Went to mystic for a weekend trip with my 18 and 13 year old. My boys and I had a good time. We enjoyed the different attractions. WAs it over priced? a bit but. I see it as they also have lots of expenses to care for these beautiful fish and sea animals. Would I return? yes I would.

I'm probably a little biased, because I live in Boston and love going to the New England Aquarium. The Titanic display at the Mystic Aquarium was pretty cool - but had little to do with marine life. The sea lion show was more like an episode of Carmen San Diego, with a few sea lions thrown in. These are fascinating,... More

This attraction is really a zoo for fish and sea animals, with outside walking and "exhibits", something to keep in mind if the weather the day of your visit is less than ideal for outdoor activity. Yes, the whales seem to be in a small enclosure, but as most of the fish and sea mammals are rescues, I am sure... More

Traveled to Mystic from RI for the day with two teens. Bought our tickets on line. The price seemed a bit steep for 4 "adults". No student discount offered. The signage off the highway was a bit confusing and we missed the turn-off for the parking area. The parking lot is too small for the many visitors and finding a... More

We found ourselves feeling sorry for many of the fish and aquatic mammals here. Many of the tanks are small and crowded and just not pleasant to see. The sea lion show was nice, but not easy to get to. The attraction is not well laid out and most employees we ran into were courteous but not all that helpful.... More

I guess the only other aquarium I can compare this to is New England aquarium in Boston. I was told by several people the Mystic aquarium is better but I disagree. I agree with other reviewers that they nickel and dime you here; the 4D movie is extra $, as well as the butterfly cage thing and the penguin one... More
