What a nice day-trip. The beluga whales exhibit was stunning and being able to swim with these creatures was amazing. Yes it's extra, but worth it. So many beautiful exhibits and art work. Very unique to Mystic. I also loved the bird aviary. So many cute pictures of birds on our heads!

The beluga whales were our favorite! The Art from Trash pieces/displays were amazing and really thought provoking. The downside is that the website didn't say that there were whole sections (inside, not seasonal) that were closed for remodeling.

we enjoyed our visit. it had all the usual exhibits you would find at an aquarium. the only thing that stood out for us was the titanic exhibit. we spent every last second we could here. very informative and interactive. I would go just to see the titanic exhibit again. the kids could climb down into a submarine and pretend... More

This is a good sized aquarium. It has the usual exhibits including a couple of touch tanks and a sea lion show. I noticed a lot of people don't take advantage of the outdoor exhibits - don't miss those as they are just as good as what's on the inside. Don't bother eating here. There are a number of good... Great aquarium to visit! The staff is very informative- make sure to ask questions. They answered every question we had. The belugas were our favorite. We liked that we could return the next day included in the ticket and free parking. Thank you for a great visit.

We love aquariums and this is the first time we have been to the Mystic Aquarium. This is a great aquarium for families as the shark and Ray petting tanks, the seal/sea lion show and the hand on exhibits are great. The staff is very knowledgeable and the conservation efforts are tremendously commendable. Don't go in the winter though, it's... More

We drove down from MA since we had been to the NE Aquarium many, many times. Parking was a dream and entry into the aquarium was so very easy. We immediately visited the beluga whales since they had been in the news recently. They did not disappoint! One played with my son through the glass and he LOVED it! We... More

Overall was a nice place, little ones enjoyed the touch pool with the rays and the beluga whale 'Juno' outside though it was cold to stay too long. The sea lion show was nice though they can improve the lighting and volume on mic.

This place may be smaller than SeaWorld, Baltimore, or Monterey Bay, but it is definitely an awesome aquarium. The entire site is designed with learning in mind, and you can't help but come away from a visit without a little extra knowledge and respect for the creatures there. Just like every zoo or aquarium, the food is a little pricey,... More
