Wow, the aquarium has really changed since my last visit 15 years ago. So much to do. Pet sting rays, watch beautiful beluga whales, see 4D movie (bring a sweater!), etc. Our 10 year old loved it and so did we! Highly recommend the Penguin Encounter. It is worth every penny ($65 per person). Ten people sit in a room... More

Great place to teach people about our ecosystem. If I hadn't seen the Beluga whales at the Aquarium, I wouldn't have known about their being in danger. Enjoy and educate!

You can do the aquarium in 3 hours easily without small children. They do nickel and dime you with the extra costs for everything and we paid for everything. The sea lion show was great and the trainers afterwards were there for questions. We fed the rays and the birds and saw the 4 D movie which I thought was... More

My biggest complaint was their brochure. It was worthless. The only way to find out feeding/show times was to stand @ the entrance & look @ a digital board. You will have to write it down quickly or have a photo memory. They could also just have standing signs near the actual exhibit. Terrible for the guests. The gift shop... More

Not cheap, but well worth every dollar. Shark and ray petting, penguins, birds... Thought it would be a small town aquarium, but no way.

My 14 year old daughter and I are on a road trip and stopped at the Mystic Aquarium. First let me say this is not like the Shed Aquarium in Chicago or the Aquarium in Tennessee. We think those are the best aquariums in the US. My daughter felt this was a great attraction for kids under 12 years old.... More

Loved the Beluga Whales! Watch for their feeding times, as it's more than just a feeding--they demonstrate how they work with the whales to train them to being checked and cared for. The whale viewing area includes above and below water areas--they are so much fun to watch! Great viewing areas of the penguins as well, you can get so... More

Visited the aquarium on a nice summer day. I was surprised by how much of it was outdoors (bring sunscreen). I have been to a few aquariums and this was one of the best. It has the usual touch tanks and indoor exhibits but also includes a sea lion show, beluga whales, penguin house and nice walk through a marsh.... More

My wife and I went here on Saturday morning on Wooden Boat Weekend and loved it. Seeing the Beluga Whales interact with each other and the public was worth the price of the tickets alone. Adults and children were thrilled by them. The Sea Lion Show was also excellent. We enjoyed our experience completely and will definitely come back again.... More

Nice little trip to the aquarium, a tad pricey for a small aquarium but it had a lot of nice sections. It took about 2.5 hours to see everything. I did notice that it was a non profit and that they help nurse seal lions back to health and I'm sure other sea creatures :) We saw the sea lion... More
