We visited because we were in town for two days to see the Mystic Seaport. The aquarium may seem unprepossessing at first, but once you get inside and start looking around, there is an awful lot of interesting stuff to see! (even for two adults) You will likely spend more time there than you expected. It was crowded with school... More

I visited the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic Connecticut. It was an easy hour and one half scenic drive from central Massachusetts. Parking is ample and free. I was delighted with the Beluga Whale exhibit. The three belugas were actively swimming around and interacting with the trainers. It was awesome to see such incredible creatures up close! Although the admission fee... More

Visited one morning, Sea lion show was entertaining, indoor display tanks were interesting, not a big lot happening with outdoor tanks, the whales were good to see up close. Passed a few hours, average enough.

What a fun day at the aquarium, we were 3 adults...even though we act like kids sometimes :) Its such a nice day, Kids all around us were having a ball, they have so many things for them to do. The 10 minute 3D movie with effects was a BLAST! Fun for kids and ADULTS as well!

We stopped on our way to the Cape. Wonderful afternoon spent, entertaining and educational, great for kids to adults, a must see on your way to New England.

Way over priced!! We enjoyed the exhibits but $70 for two adults for 4 attractions was over the top!! I did get $4 off each of our admissions with our Foxwoods card so that helped but $62 is still way too expensive for the amount of exhibits. The Beluga whales were very interactive and that was our favorite part. I... More

my granddaughter loved touching and petting the fish, sharks, baby alligator, and sting rays. the seal lion show was a treat for her. it is best to go either early or late since it tends to become crowded mid morning to early afternoon

The aquarium is wonderful! It is small enough to tour in a few hours. The price is a bit steep for such a small sized aquarium, but the exhibits are worth it. Check out the jellyfish exhibit. Awesome!

Great aquarium! Beluga whales were by far the best exhibit, in my opinion. Sea lions and penguins were also great. Tickets were quite expensive, but comparable to Mystic Seaport's ticket prices. Also, there are a LOT of animal trainers, so I'm sure the operating costs are quite high. The 15% off discount by ordering tickets online was helpful and cheaper... More

We really enjoyed this aquarium and would definitely go back. The grounds and exhibits were well mentioned and very nice. Just be sure to take cover in the aviary, I got pooped on. But, stuff happens.
