We recently visited Lyman on a Saturday mid-Oct. I have been going to Lyman for years and have loved it there. But things have certainly changed. In the pick your own there were no apples left on the trees! :( The line for the bakery wrapped around the store! The apples in the store (because I couldn't pick them!) were... More

The orchard is beautiful. Lots to pick and a lovely market close by "The Apple Barrel" that has fresh produce and lots of baked goods. You can purchase food to eat and you can sit outside on the patio. I'm looking forward to going back when the foliage is at peak. Lovey area.

We went in august....it had apples, peers and peaches. Went as a family.....elderly really enjoyed. We had a great time. At apple barrel, you can eat the restaurant or you can bring your own food and enjoy picnic with family by the small pond with many ducks

We went during the berry festival. My kids were just delighted to be in the farm. The peaches were just simply amazing. I thought it was like an addiction that you just want to pick all the fruits you see.

What an experience for my whole family! My wife wanted to go to a pick-your-own place for some time now, but I just wasn't that interested. Boy, was I wrong! First of all, this place is huge and beautiful. The fruits will change depending on the season, so during the months of June, July and August strawberries, blueberries and peaches... More

We love going to Lyman Orchards for the sunflower maze and the corn maze. They're on the expensive side if you go with a large family but it's definitely a fun activity for all. We've also been to several of their festivals where they have live music, pony rides and horse-drawn carriage rides among other things. The festivals are unfortunately... More

My wife and I brought my 8- and 11-year-old grandchildren hear for a pleasant activity on a warm summer day. My oh my, it was more than I'd hoped for. We picked many pounds of berries, plump and ripe beyond my dreams, and brought home 8 pints for $30. Amazing. I baked a pie from a Cook's Illustrated recipe when... More

I have gone here many times over the years and love everything they offer. You can pick your own fruit, if you are in the mood, or go to their Apple Barrel store and buy what you want. I love their strawberries and always make a point to go buy some, but everything in the store is great, as it... More

What a marvelous store...delicious bakery items. Grabbed a little something to eat and sat outside. A gem in the middle of quiet little Middlefield!
