My family and I were there January 2 - 3, 2015. We stayed in the Premium Tent. I have to say we were impressed with the White Runn, however, the service and remainder activities, most of which costs extra were very disappointing. Note to all: Be careful, the Hot Water DOES NOT run all day. They tell you it is... More

The White Rann was more astonishing that I had thought of...Vast desert of Salt...is a must visit if u are in Kutch region or nearby. You must carry valid Photo ID cards for all the members you are visiting the place. BSF issues passes for individuals and vehicle to enter the Rann. I visited the Rann in January 2015. The... More

Great rann of kutch has more than a desert safari to enthuse visitors. For starters the land is famous for its Kutchi craftsmanship on wood and clothes. The handicrafts can be purchased or one can visit a local village and see the artisans in action. Night time performances by garba/ raas troupe is also a cultural treat, with musicians singing... We went to Great Rann of Kutch on Dec end. It was simply a majestic trip. We have reached Bhuj one day before and stayed in a hotel. I wanted to book the tents at Rann Utsav but they were very expensive, so we decided to stay at Bhuj. On the planned day, we started from Bhuj around 1.30 pm... More

We visited on January 1. There were a lot of visitors there because of New Year. It is worth walking some distance to experience the strangeness of the place, a vast white desert where it is easy to lose perspective.

We visited Rann Utsav on 9th March this year. We had a very pleasant stay in the Swiss tent cluster. Everything was very well organised from the railway station pick up to very comfortable and clean tents. The food included with the package was very good beyond expectations. The free transportation provided for internal sightseeing was very innovative. Recreation was... More

Visited Rann Utsav first week of January, very close to full moon. The festival itself is extremely well organized right from picking up at the airport/station till you are dropped back to the airport/station. The swiss tents cluster are very comfortable, extremely safe and separate good clean toilets per tent with provision for AC. Food is fantastic, though vegetarian and... More
