Great Rann of Kutch and yes the name aptly describes, it indeed is great, is a salt marsh located in Kutch District of Gujarat, India. One of most beautiful place in kutch at winter time. And if you want go their than stay night view full moon light on desert... It's really unforgettable moments for you.....

Winters remind me of my last trip to Mesmerizing kutch, it was one of my best trip with family in india, instead of staying in the tent city at rann we decided to stay at one of the resort in gandhidham where they had plan karaoke and stuff for room guest and also it was more convenient to cover White... More

Rann Utsav..... the widely publicized Desert Festival of Gujarat, was really not what I had expected it to be. The vast area covered by salt was indeed a treat to watch and experience. One can only be amazed by the nature's way of organizing itself. Apart from this the Rann Utsav was a large fairground with lots of folk music... More

It's really amazing to see land covered with salt specially during sun rise. We have heard a lot about runutsav but due to our college timings we had to visit the place before Preparation for runutsav was going at that time though But yes you should see that place covered with salt In moonlight and at dawn Land is pure... More

We were there for 2n/3d.. it was a very good experience..we were with a family. Calm place.. Awesome experience....We spend most of the time outside ...gliding was good but its quite costly... we had a good view on paragliding over there....Authentic Gujarathi good was served ...with varieties.. Local programs was nice...one should really experience this place...Suitable for family and friends..... More

It was great experience in rann utsav i think one of my best trips . The white rann, the folk music , the food and the stalls attracted me like anything. The tent staying experience was amazing and the festival was superb . I want to suggest all of you to pay a visit at rann utsav and the best... More

Calm Place !!. White sand everywhere , some camels , some local folk music . Unending desert of Salt . Go during Jan-Feb to see Rann of Kutch festival .

It was an awesome experience....had gone with friends...good for going with family also......very cold at night(obviously)...view of the rann is great in moonlight.....there is stay also(paid stay)......camel ride is too good.....events and cultural programs are mmmm.....food is good.....just a walk in the rann will also take you high.....make sure to take some winter wear as itz damn cold......must visit point... More

Must go place in December end. Do not travel here in Sep-Oct as due to the rains, the 'white' desert is invisible.
