Took my grandson to see the park again...it is a yearly event. He was so excited to go again...I think he took pictures of everything with his Ipad. Always a great time for a great cause - Channel 3 Kids Camp. Actually going to volunteer Tuesday evening and I am looking forward to seeing lots of smiling faces. Great tradition!

It is sadder than sad that the City of Hartford was duped into hiring an outside management company to run and maintain the golf course. The same company has already destroyed East Harford Country Club, Laurel View in Hamden, Keney Park as well as Manchester Country Club. The management company should be banned from any golf course and the owner... More

Godwin Park's golf course could be beautiful again if some care was put into it. Some of the woman's tee boxes are just dirt and roots. It's a shame how the course is not maintained as well as it used to be.

It's a great place to walk during summer and a nice place to visit during winter when they have the festival of lights!

Average place for 9 holes of golf.. First time I got hit with a golf ball. They have a walking area that runs right through the golf course. So you have to be very careful when walking, riding your bike or even playing. I got hit in the leg while on the first T. FOUR!!!!!!

I grew up across from this park, and I walk my son's dog there every now and then (he bought his grandparents' house), and I'm greatly saddened to see how this once beautiful park and golf course has gone to seed.

Went to see the Christmas lights - great display to take children. Lights and drive were excellent and money goes to support a great cause. My grandson just loved itl.

The park and golf course is in very bad condition. I don't believe that any grounds keeping exists. The park is owned by the city and it needs HELP!!

There are many safer parks in the metro area. The Farmington Valley would be my recommendation.
