Hartford Stage is an excellent theater experience. It is a very comfortable theater with not a bad seat in the house. It is easy to park and to get to. The plays vary, but the staging is always exceptional and costuming is great. There current artistic director seems to have added a great deal of new excitement to the organization... More

Wonderful theater, the acting was superb! It was such a delight to return to the Hartford Stage Compny. I was there only one other time, ten years ago to see, ' Tea at Five' which also was superb!

It is one of the best and well known regional theaterin in New England if not in the country. Productions are well staged and are performed by top-quality actors. Seating design Is such that no seats in the house are bad seats. this is a plus

There's a reason this group wins awards (well, many). I've not ever disliked a production I've seen there.

Small, intimate theater (almost) in the round, not a bad seat in the house. Many thought-provoking and excellently executed original plays, as well as classic dramas and comedies and occasional musicals. Can be a bit avant-garde and deliciously so. Well known players frequently grace its stage.

I went to see the "A Christmas Carol", Really good! All the staff is nice, there's stadium seating, and it's great! Go there if you don't want to see a broadway show but you want to see A show on a regular sat. night or something.

Even if you aren't a fan of the play being produced, you can appreciate the quality and effort put into each production. Every seat is a good seat. I appreciate the annual Scrooge production, but would enjoy a different holiday show once in awhile.

Small theater where you are close to the stage. Top quality shows for the most part.
