Great Place to see a show

The Bushnell is a great old theater in downtown Hartford. There are very view bad views of the stage and the staff is excellent to work with.

I've been attending performances in the Bushnell and Belden theaters for years and I love it. This Summer I took my grandchildren ages 9 and 7 on a tour of the theater. What a great adventure. Now the children can thoroughly enjoy what they see on stage knowing a little more about the backstage.

Very cool place with 2 performing art theaters. The group I was with had rented the entire building so we had the lay of the land and I walked through most of this historic building with it smany rooms and floors. I'd love to attend a concert here when back in the area!

Saw Camelot here the last time we came here in, I believe it was, May of this year. Pretty much any seat in the house makes for a decent view. I can see where some people might gripe about the comfort level of the seats and was somewhat amazed to read another report about a rude usher who got after... More

My husband and I say Kinky Boots on a Saturday night. Parking was free, which was a plus. We chose the balcony seating which was a bit crowded, but these tickets were cheapest, so no complaints. The musical was a lot of fun. We were completely impressed with the creativity of the set design and the complexity of Lola's character,... More

Play at the Bushnell theater was superb. Seating was fine and parking was convenient. Problem with sound system was only negative. Se of the words were hard to understand.

This is a beautiful old structure that is lovingly maintained. Acoustics would probably be better in a newer building but you'd lose the charm of this wonderful place.

Two beautiful theatres, one with a wonderful history of hosting legends. I've had to privilege of both performing here and attending performances of many types (including Warren Miller ski movies, the Vienna Boys Choir, solo concerts by Beverly Sills, operas, Broadway traveling shows, and symphonic concerts). Well worth investigating.

The play was good. The performance was good, seemed a little slow in the first half, but really picked up after intermission. Maybe in part because I caught my second wind. Had a short nights sleep and a big meal just before attending. The orchestra and one of the lead characters sounded very powerful and made me want to attend... More

I just attended a convention here. We were about 750 of us, which is around where I would cap it. Some of the break-out spaces did feel tight, but the main theaters were spacious and beautiful. The staff were warm and friendly.
