The docent tour of the tours is free and gives nice insight into the park and the towers (Soldiers & Sailors Memorial). If not enough time, a walk thru the park is pleasant- though in the... More

Bushnell Park has amazing waterfalls and great statues. There are often plenty of people around and entertainment here is always a treat. The best time to go is when there is yoga or live jazz.

I, like many suburbanites was nervous the first time I walked around Bushnell Park because of the stories you hear but now, it is a regular daily walk for myself as well as many people who work in Hartford. The park is beautiful and holds a lot of history. From the beautiful sculptures to the fountains, to the restored merry... More

There are parts of the park that are amazing and beautiful, There are parts that are strewn with litter and unkempt. I expected more from the City of Hartford. The water feature and carousel were filthy with litter. Sad.

Great summer day trip with small kids. Ride the train in and ride on the carousel. The kids enjoy both.

Beautiful park right in downtown Hartford. Sculptures and water features are interesting. Wish the carousel was operating but it was being repaired. Next time!

At Bushnell Park you get a sense of how old Hartford use to be in its glory days! It's a nice place to take a noon walk and check out the coy fish or take your dog for a walk.

We were doing a little exploring and came upon the park. We only walked around the area on the back side of the Capitol. Next time we come to town we will explore more of the park.

Very good park in the middle of downtown to sit & relax or play. Walk amidst the cool & pleasant trees gives a nice feeling!
