Beautiful, well maintained gardens. Not just rose gardens. For the next few weeks, an amazing assortment of dahlias will be blooming.

A lovely refuge in the heart of the city. This Rose Garden and Park is well kept and a nice place to visit, walk, picnic and eat at the Pond House. A great day out!

If you just want to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy nature, this is the place to go. I like to eat lunch there and just watch people. The park is clean and well maintained. Enjoy the pond an the beautiful flowers. At times you can attend yoga or a live free concert.

We were expecting more flowers. We had seen pictures of the rose garden full of flowers, but now was obviously not rose season. Still a beautiful park and worth a visit.

Great to just walk around in or even for wedding pictures. Love being there. It's beautiful. With all the flowers and the cleanness of this park.

This is a beautiful space to roam. There is always something lovely to see with a perennial garden and a rose garden. It is also the oldest municipal gardens in the US -- beautiful to wander.

This is a lovely park with extensive gardens and an excellent restaurant (the Pond House Cafe). A popular place for wedding photography.

OMGoodness is this a jewel within a big city - and free! I can't say enough good things about this park. Not from this area, we relied on GPS to get us here and we did get sidetracked through the lovely neighborhood of estate homes off Asylum street and that just confirmed we need to explore this area even more.... My boyfriend and I spent the day at Elizabeth Park. We had a picnic in the entertainment area, the walked through the numerous flowers, and ended our day sipping ice tea while watching the ducks swim in the pond. Definitely recommended for a leisurely day. I have also been to the park during a farmers market, which was a lot... More
