The rose garden is absolutely beautiful. It is wonderfully maintained. There are weddings and photo-shoots there all the time. The coy pond is fun, make sure to bring plenty of bread and enjoy the fish practically jumping out of the water in a feeding frenzy.

Elizabeth Park is one of the premier rose gardens in the US. I have visited it regularly since childhood to enjoy the flowers, its skating pond in winter, its hillside sledding area. and its fine restaurant, the Pond House, which overlooks the pond.

This park is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the roses bloom in the summer. There are plenty of gardens and walkways, and the park's large enough to come with groups of people or to come and spend some calm solo time.

Elizabeth Park is a special treat for those who love roses amd colorful gardens, and for those who just enjoy color and beauty. The peak time to go is in June, and into July when the massive number of roses are at their peak. There are also annual gardens and perennial gardens that provide good landscape ideas. There are benches... More

We've been coming to Elizabeth Park for many years - especially in June when the roses are in full bloom but the flowers - roses, annuals and perennials continue to provide their beautiful colors all summer long. It's a peaceful place to just wander, sit on a bench (under the trees, in the open, or by the roses) and just... More

A great place to have a picnic in the spring. Love every moment of this park. While it is small in comparison to others- great things come in small packages! So relaxing and beautiful. Come visit for a quiet afternoon out.

I dare you not to fall in love just a little more with your partner walking in the Rose Garden in June. It's not possible. Absolutely stunningly beautiful every year. And every Spring the Tulip Garden greets me after the long, cold Connecticut Winter like a long lost friend.
