Terrific commnity park and gardens. Their annual display is top notch. They provide a flyer that lists all the planted annuals; very helpful. Nice snack shack to get a lunch/ ice cream. Free parking. Wonderful rose garden. Don't miss it.

we attended a birthday party in the pavallion which was a nice but not special. it is known for its rose garden. It takes alot to get me to a park, it truly has to be special, like the NY Botanical gardens, to get a plus rating. Eliz.Park is a city park located between Hartford and West Hartford.

We went here in the afternoon. Seemed safe and clean, with lots of paths and beautiful flowers. We'll have to come back once the roses are in bloom.

We visit here each spring to walk around and take pictures. It really is a gem in the Hartford area. There are roses of almost every color and the aroma is heavenly. Walk across the road and there is stunning perennial and annual gardens as well with some very unique and unusual flowers

I love walking around the grounds especially during Rose season. At that time there are hundreds of roses in bloom. I saw varieties I have never seen before. I love to bring a blanket and pack a lunch and take in the peaceful space. It is a nice way to spend the day.

A great place to spend an afternoon. Maintenance can be hit or miss and never try to reserve it to hold an even because the City of Hartford permitting process is full of delays, disorganization of red tape. But it is still the perfect place to take a picnic and hang out!
