Great time aboard the Hel-Cat II Caught some Nice Porgies. Very helpful friendly staff. Food, rod and reel are extra, but a very good price. It's still cold out, so travel time is a lot further out than in Summer.

I went out with some friends on the Hel Cat for a fishing trip. There was alot of fish caught on the boat. The only problem with this type of trip is they put too many people on the boat. We spent more time getting our lines untangled from other peoples lines than fishing. Other than that it was alot... More

The crew of the Hel-cat II were outstanding and very helpful. The duration of the fishing trip was just right. Not too long or too short. Caught plenty of fish. Everyone on board had a great time.

First a word of explination. A "Head Boat" is where you just walk on. They will charge you a reasonable fare (right now $58.00, Vets and Kids less), rent you poles and litterally teach you how to fish. I have been riding the Cat for decades.
