Small public beach, very nice location where Thames River flows into Fisher Island Sound.

Best on weekdays (less crowded) or late in the day. Season pass is best deal. Great hamburgers at the concession stand.

Wow, quiet and clean. What a nice little beach. Need to be a resident and there's a fee but the grounds are lovely and the water at the edge of the sound is much cleaner than other area beaches.

Beach is a nice quiet family beach. Life guards seem attentive and serious. The snack bar is horrific!!!!Long long wait . I don't know why they can't just make a bunch of fries at one time and crank they out with hamburgers and hot dogs during peak lunch time! The type of food they serve is certainly nothing that needs to... More

A cute little stop on our Groton/Mystic tour. We managed to get in without a fee, even though I have heard that there usually is one. We enjoyed a nice quiet evening here; climbing on the rocks (even though you shouldn't) and exploring the view.

I am local and find it well worth the present fee of $65 for a summer beach pass. The sand is great, mostly smooth and white, and the water clear. Just occasional buildup of seaweed, which is normal. Concessions are reasonable and tasty. Nothing fancy but will do for a basic meal. Family-oriented place with swings for the kids and... More

I' m always interested in seeing a lighthouse when possible. From Easton Point Beach, you are able to see the New London Harbor Light, the New London Ledge Light, and the top of the Avery Lighthouse. This location offered some pretty good photo opportunities as well. It was also free to stop and park. From here, if you drive another... More
