We went for a walk with family and their puppy. We met a lot of friendly people who also were walking with their dogs. Will definitely go back again when we are in the area.

Great walking hike trail with a Bonus at the end.. takes about 45 minutes from the Parking lot. Not set up for non-woodsy folks. So dont plan on Modern Bathrooms etc.lol

Bluff Point's accessibility is also its downfall. During the weekends it gets very crowded and it can be hard to find a quiet trail. Great views and the hiking/ biking is excellent!

If you love hiking with your dogs, this is a great place to go. The scenic is beautiful, specially seen the lighthouses stupid the park. Also, it's a great park to spend a picnic time.

Parts of the movie 'Amistad' were filmed here as it is one of the last undeveloped shorelines around. Deer overpopulation have extirpated many native plants and the woods are filled with green briar so you mostly stay on the excellent and wide paths with good views. Mounds of slipper snail shells out at the beach, but you can also gather... More

What can I say. This is just my favorite place. Almost hesitant to say so as one of the reasons is, it's quiet and lovely. You go under a usually graffiti'd bridge, under train tracks, on a pockmarked dirt road, (perfectly safe, just unassuming) to a free parking lot. You walk 40 mins or maybe 25 to a rocky, shell-y... My family and I love to go here and walk the trails and skip rocks into the water. It has some beautiful views of the sound. Be careful on the trails some people do not pick up after their dogs taking a poop! Other than that is a nice place...there is no charge and they have picnic tables and grills... More

Nice place to have a picnic and go hiking. Watch for people horse back riding while on the trails. It's a beautiful place especially in the fall when you have the foliage. I went w/ my husband and it took us a little over an hour to walk the loop. There are rest rooms a long the way if you... More
