Over the many years, I have been surprised by the changes on Greenwich Avenue as it has become more varied and upscale both in terms of shopping and dining options. There is a lot to see, explore and experience. Locals can take care of basic needs and visitors can experience a variety of dining options from the top of the... More

Pretty exclusive street with upscale shops anchored by a real exclusive slice of Saks on one end and Richards on the other. In between are standard mall stores like Tiffany's, J Crew etc....standout stores are Jonathan Adler, Joie, Vince, Rag & Bone, Vineyard Vines, Restoration Hardware and exclusive Jewelers. Most shops are pretty approachable and the help is welcoming to... More

I prefer NYC because you can also find shops with some deals too. The sale racks were pitiful. If you don't mind expensive then this is the place. After 5pm the parking is free and no problem. Shops were still open. Pretty town too.

Not Rodeo Drive, Worth or 5th Avenue but still ritzy. The big money stores have pushed out most of the mom and pop shops, but a few still survive. It is a nice walk up and down, especially on a nice summer night. Despite the town's incredible wealth there remains a touch of simplicity and lack of attitude.

The Month of July the chamber of commerce and local shops have an annual Side Walk Sale. Amazing deals from the retailers on the Ave. Good finds and be prepared to be a while. Found great deals at Vineyard Vines and Burt Bees Baby Clothing.

Stroll down the Avenue and check out all the specialty shops. Beautiful things at high prices. But look in the rear of the stores of something that might be affordable. Stay away for sidewalk sales which are a zoo!

Greenwich Avenue is about a mile long and filled on both sides with a great number of mostly upscale shops, boutiques, restaurants. The variety makes for a fun day of shopping, if a bit pricey. If there is a negative, your finding a parking place, which are metered and policed, may often be a problem.

Just what you would expect in Greenwich, lovely upscale sidewalk shopping. Still, I expected more boutique shopping and fewer shops you find "anywhere USA." I prefer to experience the atmosphere, customs and clothing styles of different cities. This is difficult when the unique, boutique shops are replaced by the same stores found in major U.S. cities. In fact, I feel... More

A one way street with a variety of stores and restaurants. mAkes for a fun day of shopping. In recent years the shops have gotten more and more expensive and I miss the old soda fountain and mom/pop shops, but it is still a joy to shop there!
