The Month of July the chamber of commerce and local shops have an annual Side Walk Sale. Amazing deals from the retailers on the Ave. Good finds and be prepared to be a while. Found great deals at Vineyard Vines and Burt Bees Baby Clothing.

Greenwich Avenue is about a mile long and filled on both sides with a great number of mostly upscale shops, boutiques, restaurants. The variety makes for a fun day of shopping, if a bit pricey. If there is a negative, your finding a parking place, which are metered and policed, may often be a problem.

Just what you would expect in Greenwich, lovely upscale sidewalk shopping. Still, I expected more boutique shopping and fewer shops you find "anywhere USA." I prefer to experience the atmosphere, customs and clothing styles of different cities. This is difficult when the unique, boutique shops are replaced by the same stores found in major U.S. cities. In fact, I feel... More

A one way street with a variety of stores and restaurants. mAkes for a fun day of shopping. In recent years the shops have gotten more and more expensive and I miss the old soda fountain and mom/pop shops, but it is still a joy to shop there!

This avenue is a cute part of town to spend a few hours. The stores are nice and there are a few spots to eat also a Starbucks. Meter parking until 6pm on a saturday so be careful.

I have lived in Greenwich for 11 years. The affordable stores have moved out because the rent is so high. The stores that are left are very nice, mostly luxury stores, especially jewelry and designer clothing. The street is lovely, but you will need to be ready to spend a lot.

Greenwich avenue is a treat for shoppers and diners. We particularly enjoyed Zara and Saks. There were also some excellent galleries. Everyone in the shops were extremely helpful and courteous.

Greenwich Ave is like a mini-Madison Ave in New York City. There are major merchants there, fabulous jewelry stores, clothing stores, home furnishing stores. All major brands, like the Apple Store for example, plus some special local brands. If you live in Greenwich you know. If not, it's a fun visit and very easy to walk up and down the... More

My wife really enjoyed the store selections that were located on the avenue and persisted to shop the entire day.
