I have lived in Greenwich for 45 years and tried many different spas. usually they are located on the second floor, a steep, vertical climb in the old buildings on Greenwich Ave.. Dream spa has an elevator and you enter a spa that is pristine and inviting. I had a relaxing, soothing facial from Dalia, an esthetician and massage therapist.... More

Lived in Greenwich over 40 years. In the winter drive up North Street to see the mansions. Go to Todd's Point in the winter (only residents in summer) also known as Greenwich Point and walk along the beach or go to the back of the park where there is a nice path overlooking Long Island Sound. The Bruce Museum usually... More

I live here & it is always interesting & fun to go to town. Great shopping & restaurants! Myy favorites are Terra & Meditterraneo for lunch & Douro for dinner. There is also a movie theater so you could stay all day!

We walk it at least once per month. Plenty of parking. Friendly shopkeepers. Good foodie places. Good exercise.

Be prepared for only a moderately picturesque downtown, expensive stores, New York styles and skinny blonde women in workout clothes. As you can tell, this is not my favorite destination, with a few exceptions. The clothing stores do not carry above a size 12 and the prices are outrageous. If you are looking for a really cute downtown with unique... More

I think "Rodeo Drive" is an overstatement. It is a lot slower, relaxed and somewhat tired shopping stret. A lot of independent small expensive shops and several better than average restaurants.

If you are looking for a great diner with consistently good food, try Greenwich"s Putnam Diner on Greenwich Avenue. The food is always fresh and owner Nick is passionate about his food and service. It is a great neighborhood find. Big menu, fair prices. And say hello to longtimer, John, the best server!

Michael Kors, Tiffanys, JJill, Saks 5th Avenue, middle of the avenue has all the big name stores you could want with the smaller town service. The staff at Michael Kors were some of the nicest that I have ever seen. Saks 5th ave was fun to check out.

I live in greenwich and frequent "The Avenue" as we call it. It's a lot of fun with many upscale shops you would find in manhattan yet all on one street. There are great restaurants and local foodie stops as well. If you are here you should then stop by the delamar hotel for a drink on the water, just... More
