I am so pleased with this community resource. Debbie, the head librarian, is the most helpful and friendly person that I have had the pleasure to meet. I only wish more people would recognize what a gem of a resource this library is to our community. I can't express my gratitude enough for the library itself, and for the people... More

I just joined Wells Turner Library for myself and my family. I had what i thought was a minor situation so I reached out to Debbie ( library supervisor) and I was so disappointed. She was condisending, rude and made me feel like i was nothing. I do customer service and I would NEVER treat our customers liek that. I... More

That's how often me and my family are there! A fabulous library - great kid's and teen section. Gotta love a great public library!

Maybe the Gbury Librarians should try to find a book, maybe with a title "Anachronisms All Around Us" as that is what this bloated, tax wasting building seems to me. What this library offers would not even be relevant 15 years, let alone today. The design is horrible. Seriously, this is the best building Glastonbury could do? Yeah, this structure... More

Helpful, knowledgeable library staff. Computers for patron use. Comfortable reading areas. CD, DVD, books-on tape and CD lending collections. Once you start browsing, treasures to be found; how-to books, cookbooks, etc. Welcoming, engaging children's library. Bulletin Board with local happenings posted. Focal point for community activities.

I'm a regular at Welles-Turner. I find the staff to be competent and welcoming, and the collection fills most of my reading interests. If they don't have what I want, they can borrow it for me from another library. Why buy books when all these resources are available at the library?

The staff is incredibly helpful. If they don't have what you want they will go out of the way to help you find it at another CT Library
