Been going to Compounce since the 70's.... That's right, the 70's.. It was somewhat lame at the time, but recent improvements make it a great place to take the kids / grandkids. Updated rides, better food, and somewhat ressonable prices makes it a hit. More

Lake compounce is in noooooo way expensive compared to six flags. $3.50 for a water?!... More

Enjoyed a day there with 6 adults and children ages 12, 6, 6, and 2. Good burgers, etc to be found, and the bumper cars and water rides were fun. The little kids most liked the kiddie water park, so take suits because adults can wade in too, there were animal slides and trickling water plus a climbable pirate ship.... More

Lake Compounce Park has been around for quite a long time- perhaps longer than any other in N. America. Of a reasonable size, it features a mix of high tech and traditional rides in a generally wooded setting. Personal favorites include the small-gauge train ride around the lake and the classic merry-go-round. The Roller Coaster, Pirate Ship and other big... More

If you live in CT, this is definitely worth checking out. My favorites are Boulderdash and Ghost Hunt. The water park is a nice bonus in the summer time. If you like haunted attractions, The Haunted Graveyard is one of the best I've ever seen. There is also free Pepsi drinks provided all day. More

To Start....they always have free Pepsi Co drinks everywhere. I'm looking forward to 2012 because they have a number of Water park rides opening. It's not expensive. Bolderdash, is one of the Fastest WOODEN Roller Coasters I've ever been on. On a good day, it can reach over 72 MPH. More
