The Park was great with nostalgic feel and yet some modern twists. Great water park as well with many different types of areas, wave pool and different slides and beach front area and little kiddie area too. The rides were pretty good although when we went in July some of the rides were closed and the kids were a little... More

A group of 8 of us (4 adults and 4 12 year-olds) went to the Lake Compounce last night (Friday). I got combo (rides and graveyard) tickets at AAA ($5 savings for adult and $2.00 for kids) a head of time and we arrived at 6:30. We couldn't get over how light the crowds were and the kids had a... I'm keeping this review short and simple. First time at this attraction and I enjoyed it. The whole thing is a walk through which takes about 40 minutes. If you can't handle being scared, walk in the middle of the group so you're not the first to encounter the actors. Some parts really scary and other parts comical. It's a... More

Lake Compounce has featured a haunted graveyard for years. This year's is--by far--the best. It is a 45 minute walk through a church, graveyard, tropical forest, house, and many other scenes. There are countless actors who do an amazing job. There are disorienting tunnels and bridges (strobe lights are used to enhance). It is probably too intense for small children.... More

This theme park is the best value in the Northeast. Lots of rides and GREAT food if catered. Next to ESPN headquarters and easy access off RT 84 major throughway.

We love to hit Lake Compounce each summer. From the water slides to the amusement park rides, there's plenty to do and see. With many restaurants and cafeterias, you never have to wait long and the sodas are FREE! Make sure to try out the wooden roller coaster!!!

Even though i used to work here, i would still go in on days off! LC has always been fun, and it has been cool to see the changes as i got older and eventually worked there. Food is so so, but what do you expect for fast food right? french fries from the 50s themed place are really good.... More

What a delight the day turned out to be when my family recently celebrated my birthday at the park. The park is small enough that my grandchildren, 3 and 6, who have season passes, knew their way around and were familiar with the lost parents and first aid stations. I thoroughly enjoyed the roller coaster rides and was sufficiently thrilled... More

Last summer we took our whole family to Lake Compounce for the day, kids and grandkids. I went there as a kid and so did my Mom, born in 1916. This is a place that has kept up with the times. Everyone in the family had a great time, from the adventurous tothetimid.

Lake Compounce is a great compact park for family fun. We live in Florida, where we often frequent the very expensive theme parks, (especially the one with the Mouse, among many others) and we have found that Lake Compounce is a very enjoyable, almost "quaint" park that we love visiting whenever we are in CT. Walking the park from end-to-end... More
