A quality family-oriented theme park. They have great attractions, good food, prices that are somewhat reasonable. not too many local accommodations, so a better day trip than an overnight, although there are some economy hotels on Route 10 not too far away.

This park is conveniently located off of West/Queen St (whatever the name is at that point of the road) as is a wonderful place for kids. I wouldn't recommend season passes unless you have children, but a well kept park.

My son and I purchased season passes for Lake Compounce for the first time this summer and I thought I'd offer some observations if you're trying to decided between here and Six Flags for season passes. 1. Cost. Lake Compounce passes cost more than Six Flags. There are, however several advantages. First, the season parking is less expensive than Six... More

I've seen "The Lake" evolve over the last 50 years and I can honestly say that the current Lake is the best bang for the buck.I've lived here all my life and love it. I recently took my granddaughter there with my wife and its great, I highly recommend it if you're in town.I also recommend the season passes, the best... More

I have had a season pass here for the past two years. This is a perfect family summer day place to stay. There are rides for all ages, and a large water park as well. The park is laid out perfectly, as a family with little children, the kid area is separate from all the "big kid" rides. We just... More

The Park was great with nostalgic feel and yet some modern twists. Great water park as well with many different types of areas, wave pool and different slides and beach front area and little kiddie area too. The rides were pretty good although when we went in July some of the rides were closed and the kids were a little... More

A group of 8 of us (4 adults and 4 12 year-olds) went to the Lake Compounce last night (Friday). I got combo (rides and graveyard) tickets at AAA ($5 savings for adult and $2.00 for kids) a head of time and we arrived at 6:30. We couldn't get over how light the crowds were and the kids had a... Hi RedUSA! we are glad you enjoyed the Haunted Graveyard with your family! We generally recommend that kids under 12 do not attend but we realize that every child is different so we leave that decision to the parent. Thanks again! More

I'm keeping this review short and simple. First time at this attraction and I enjoyed it. The whole thing is a walk through which takes about 40 minutes. If you can't handle being scared, walk in the middle of the group so you're not the first to encounter the actors. Some parts really scary and other parts comical. It's a... More
