I really hate to give a negative review. I'm am rating this attraction just on what I noticed on Satuday when I took my granddaughter. I haven't been to this museum in 15 years and heard that it had been updated. There is a section for children between the ages of 1-3. There were no shoes allowed in this section... More

Thank you very much for your feedback! There are a couple of points we’d like to touch on in your review of the Museum. You visited The Discovery Museum on our single busiest day ever! We had over 1,600 people through the door that day for Space Day, which was helped made possible by the Connecticut Space Consortium, so thanks... More

Lots of great programs for the local schools. Great museum to have locally. Some of the exhibits need updating, this is due partly due to the funding problems they were having, I would imagine. Cute place to visit when the kids are little. But I would not make a special trip.

My daughter went to the most wonderful birthday party at Discovery Museum...the girls had a theme party called Spa Science and they made their own peppermint lip balm...wish I was a kid! Everybody loved it, and I'm definitely going to get the Dino Hunters party for my littlest one. The staff was really kid-friendly, which was nice.

The hands on activities for the children kept their attention and seemed to attract their interest. The Planetarium presentation we observed was one of two presentations offered that day and was enjoyed by all ages.

Visited here on a Friday with my two year old. Never knew this place existed. Lots of cool stuff for kids to experience, with simple science exhibits, a floor dedicated to outer space, a planetarium with a slightly bizarre show, and a somewhat friendly staff. My daughter was thoroughly impressed and it was a good day spent indoors (away from... More

Many and varied science activiites and exhibits; best for under 13 year old kids. They have a zipline now, we will be going back to try that out

I was pleasantly surprised while on an outing w/the kids at the discovery museum in Bridgeport this past weekend!! They not only have great interactive science projects (rooms) they built an absolutely "slam dunk" adventure land/obstacle course (more for adults) than children!! I wasn't prepared (with the right equipment/clothing) to partake, but I SHALL RETURN with my BUDDIES!!! A MUST... More

Took our great grandson and he had such a good time. Loved the planetarium. Would love to go back again when he comes to visit with his younger brother.

Best part for 8yr olds to adults is the Adventure Park. Haven't been to the museum in years but the Adventure Park rocks! Great fun for visiting family who like the outdoors a lot or a little.

This place is so much fun when you have kids with you. But it is pricey. See if you can find a coupon or something before you go.
