Even though the apples are overpriced, we go every year. It's a tradition to go apple picking, and eat their yummy apple cider donuts. We love Blue Jay Orchards!

My husband and I go to Blue Jay Orchards many times per season, as my homemade apple butter is a favorite among our friends and family. The staff is friendly and informative and the prices are reasonable. Bring your whole family for a great time, but leave your pets at home, as they don't allow dogs in the orchards any... More

The kids and I had a great time. It was such a nice place that I only wished it had an event for kids during the Halloween weekend.

Blue Jay makes the absolute, scrumptious cider donuts. Can't get enough. Plenty of pumpkins and apples for the choosing.

Absolutely unreasonable pricing. (We went on 10/13/13) Costs $20 to buy a empty plastic bag that holds about 3 lbs of pick-your-own apples. We paid it to make the family happy and enjoy a fun time with loved ones, but still felt incedibly ripped off. Pros: nice location and cute on-site store that reminded me a little of Trader Joe's.

We went apple picking here for the first time on opening weekend. Great time enjoying the orchard. After we were done picking we went to the store and picked up fresh apple cider donuts and apple cider to take home. We have been back to take the wagon ride (great deal at 2.00 per person) and have a snack of... More

This is a great place to pick your own apples. If you're not up to it, they have plenty of home grown varieties to pick from in their quaint store. The store also sells various other items reminicent of an old country store. Well worth the trip

This year the apples may be in short supply due to the weather, but they do make a first class apple pie!!! and will have their bee observatory up and running again. I went in this week for my apple pie fix and found out about the local fruit nursery problems due to the spring weather around here. This is... More
