My husband and I, along with another couple took this balloon ride on 12-31-08 in Steamboat Springs. While we understand we are a the mercy of the weather, the lack of breeze only allowed us to get up to around 1200 ft. and we couldn't have traveled over a 3 mile radius, which was just back and forth over the... more

This person did not fly with us, we fly in Winter Park not Steamboat Springs. I doubt this person has been on a balloon ride, if they had they would know gaining altitude is done by adding heat and has nothing to do with wind speed.

This was my 4th balloon ride, two in other states and one in Europe. Grand Adventure provided the best flight experience and location at the lowest rate. The balloon ride was the highlight of our visit to Winter Park. more

Our adventure was fabulous with Grand Adventure Balloon Tours in the Winter Park Fraser Valley. What a awesome way to see the area! We took the whole family, it is wonderful for all ages. Grand Adventures crew and pilot are the best!!! Thank you for a spectacular trip! When visiting Colorado its an experience you don't want to miss. more
