This resort gets it 80% right, and cuts the corners for the last 20% in just about every part of our vacation experience. They just don't realize how that last 20% really makes a big difference in customer satisfaction and customer experience. Check-in doesn't include our pre-ordered lift tickets...we have to go to another building to get them. Our four... more

Clean, spacious room. We were 3 people and had booked the Studio loft room. The best part was the proximity to the slopes. The gondola outside the hotel was extremely convenient. more

This place was really alot of fun. We bought the adventure pass that lets you use all the attractions you want as often as you like. These passes are discounted by $5 each when bought in advance. By far the highlite attraction in the park is the alpine slide. Considering the volume of people they put through this attraction, it... more

We specifically made this stop at Winter Park to ride the Alpine Slide. We got there early just to get started on our day and they didn't have the people to get the thing started on time. The worst part, however, is that they only had one track operating...which means if you got stuck behind somebody going really slow, you... more

Winter Park is a well developed ski area with a variety of trails. It is actively being redeveloped. There are two fatal flaws. 1. It is 2000 feet from the bus drop down 100' to the ski lifts. Not a bad walk with your skis and poles in the morning when you are fresh. That 100' rise is a challenge... more

The family just spent three days on the slopes over spring break. The skiing conditions were absolutely wonderful! There is terrain available for any level of skier or boarder in your group. I especially liked the fact that there were not the "crowds" encountered at other Colorado ski resorts we have visited in the past, just a heads up though,... more

This is such a great place for Skiing! Awesome runs for all types of skiiers, this is the place Colorado natives chose to do their skiing which says alot. Prices are not as bad as Vail and some of the other ski towns and you can get great vacation rentals for not that much. Love to skii here!!! more

This was my first time skiing in the US. I know several ski resorts in Austria and Norway. Winter Park is a nice place, big enough for a week, slopes in all difficulties and a nice area. They have very nice blue slopes in Winter Park and even the green ones are nice for intermediate riders What we did not... more

My family and I went to WP for Spring Break (Mar 18 - Mar 23). This was our first time at WP. Last year, we went to Breckenridge, at about the same time, so we were able to compare the two resorts. Overall, we liked WP for its small town, family friendly, and low-key atmosphere. There weren't many of the... more
