Type: Water Parks, Amusement Parks
Owner description: This is a great small town water park with two awesome slides, a current pool, a diving pool, and a walk-in pool with water toys. $7 for adults and $6 for kids or a season pass for $60 gets 20 admissions. I'm from Denver where the amazing Water World is located. While Wild Waters isn't Water World -- it is 1/5 the price and a totally awesome stop on the way to the Sand Dunes or Durango / Four Corners / Grand Canyon!

We called ahead and they said "looking forward to having you". I hung up & said wow...you never hear that anymore. We arrived just after opening and got in without my suit so back to car( no problem). My window burst and employees were concerned for the safety of people walking barefoot & getting cut. They supplied me with broom... More

Kids loved it. Entry is a little high @ $6 but if you come in at 5 PM it is $4. Clean and well managed.

We drive from Pueblo a couple times a year to visit this water park. Now if you are expecting a large park with lots of attractions then go to Denver. This place has 2 water slides, a small lazy river, a diving pool and a nice shallow play area for small kids. It's nice to play in the water with... More

My kids really liked the spray park and seal slide, water was really cold when we went. later we found out that the heater was broken for the pool, no one unformed us. think it would have been way more fun if it was warmer.

Every time we go we have an amazing time. The water is always clean and cold. The lifeguards are very cautious with little swimmers.

This town is a joke !! I HAVE BEEN IN SMALLER TOWNS THAT HAVE 5 TIMES WHAT THIS TOWN HAS... We have stopped at this facility three years in a row and each visit gets worse than the one before !! This rating of POOR is stretching it to the extreme !! These people are NOT hospitable or tourist oriented.... More

The park itself is great. The lazy river was a big hit as was the splash pad area. As another reviewer noted, the break time/ length varies widely and appears to depend upon the whims of the lifeguards (who by the way do not appear to actually pay that much attention to what's going on). There were no soap dispensers... More

This is a great little diversion. A town-run water park, it had a little of everything. We stopped with our two kids, ages 10 and 14, on our drive from Colorado Springs to Pagossa Springs. They have two small water slides, a diving pool, a small lazy river and a small child play area. The park appeared to have a... More

On your way to the Sand Dunes or Durango or Mesa Verde / Four Corners and need a place to cool down. Oh my gosh, I recently found out and tried out the Walsenburg Wild Waters Park in a scenic little town at the base of the Huajatolla Mountains. The park has two awesome water slides, a dive pool, a... More
