Booth Falls - Great family hike

This was a great family hike. We had a 4, 7, and 10 year old. 7 and 10 handled it easily. I had to carry our 4 year old in a few spots. Easy hike. Not very technical. Arrive... read more

Truly a beautiful hike! Lot's of Aspen, flower filled meadows and rocky peaks to look at on the way up. It is a steep hike - and we took someone who wasn't really used to hiking and he didn't really enjoy himself - never the less, I thought it was one of the prettiest hikes I've ever done in Colorado.... We took both our dogs and they loved it too! It was a bit longer than we expected to get to the Falls, but it was well worth it!

Are place was just down the street from this trail, so we decided to give hiking a shot. We had never hiked before, I wore tennis shoes, running tights, a t-shirt, a light jacket, sunglasses, and took a bottle of water. My boyfriend and I made it up to the waterfall in a little over an hour. The trail is... More

This is not an easy hike it is all uphill and not vey shady! If you are not an experienced hiker or used to altitude try something else. The home is gorgeous and about 1.3 miles in there is a waterfall. Bring lots of water and wear appropriate footwear. Dogs are welcome on the hike and it isn't super busy.

Excellent hike for all ages as long as you are in good shape. Takes about 1.5 hours to get to the top of falls and one hour to get down. Bring water and snack. Lots of beautiful scenery. Good exercise.

Altitude, a waterfall, a lake, great scenery. Your legs and knees need to be in good shape for this one.

This is one my favorite trails of all time! We arrived around 7:30 am. There is a small parking lot at the trail head with some overflow parking at the school down the street. However, it is a bit of a hike to the trail head from the overflow parking, so I would recommend getting there early to snag a... More

Booth Falls hike was challenging enough for us. The end of the trail for us was the falls but you can hike a couple more miles back to the lake. I can say the next time we're in Vail this will be one of our destination hikes. Being from the desert and then hiking in beautiful country at elevation had... More

We had a great morning hiking this trail. Do not be misled, this trail goes up and there is not much flat trail hiking. It is a rocky trail with some minor wet areas so good shoes are needed. You will need a couple bottles of water. I am in pretty decent shape as is my wife but this trail... More
