We hiked the Booth a Falls trail on Wednesday, June 24th. This continuously uphill hike to the falls was strenuous for three middle aged guys from Cleveland fresh of a plane but moderate would be a good description. The falls were beautiful and well worth the hour and 45 minutes it took to get there. After enjoying the falls we... More

My local bud says he hadn't done it in several years. Said it was 1.5 hours with a 20 minute stay at the top. Said it was moderate. Said it was fun. Well - it WAS fun. I had to stop numerous times. We had only been at altitude for 24 hours. my daughter is 17 and had little trouble.... More

This is a roundtrip 8 miles up hill hike total time at a good pace is 3 hours. Moderate is what it is rated, still challenging for flatlanders in good shape. Anyone could do it, it would probably take you longer than 3 hours, however. Just stop and enjoy the views. Bring 2 water bottles.

Beautiful falls await you after a 90-120 minute hike up the valley. Some shade along the way. Definitely bring plenty of water.

It is a moderate hike with great rewards and the falls. Beautiful views as you go as well. The trail is easily followed and not too rocky. The beginning is a bit of an incline and with the high altitude even if you are in shape you will be huffing!

A little steep at first, then not bad at all. The views were beautiful and this was definitely one of my favorite trails.

My wife and I decided to venture out on a hike after about a week in Vail. We waited till we got our near sea level lungs pretty much adjusted to the altitude of Vail (base at around 8,150 feet). Good thing we did as the hike which was apparently very easy for the locals caught us a bit winded... More

This is a challenging hike but worth it. Parking at the trailhead is a challenge as well. The scenery is stunning and we met a lot of lovely people along the trail as well. I recommend this hike if you've got 2-3 hours to complete it. We did not go past the falls to the lake.

Found this trail off of trip advisor and it sounded like a moderately easy trail from the reviews... I was wrong. If you aren't used to the high elevation and hiking upwards almost the entire hike, I wouldn't suggest it. Out of 3 people that went with me, only one made it to the waterfall after trudging through mud and... More

The trail was still snow packed at higher elevations (late May) so we were unable to make it all the way to booth lake. The terrain is varied with sections of aspen groves, rocky bits, level areas as well as steep. Trail is well worn and easy to follow.
