Nice hike., beautiful scenery. A little longer than I expected but that was my fault for poor prep. My athletic 7 year old and I made it to falls and back easily.

Great hike! We were a little winded by the altitude at the beginning, but thoroughly enjoyed the changing scenery! Our kids (10, 14, 16) did great!

This was the perfect Rocky Mountain hike. A bit strenuous, but doable. Amazing vista views, pretty, pretty flowers everywhere, shimmering Aspens, marmots watching us from boulder perches. A 15 minute rain/hail came upon us and caught a few of us without our rain jackets, but we still had fun. No access to a pool at the bottom to play or... More

Overall this trail is relatively easy and wonderfully maintained. Some areas have a moderate climb, but there are plenty of places to catch your breath and take in the scenery. We didn't go past Booth Falls (to the lake) because of snow up at higher elevations. Wonderful place to hike.

For Florida hikers, this was a tough hike! It is really steep in some areas, but the scenery is beautiful. We only made it to the falls, and expected something with a little more "WOW"! Maybe all the way to to lake would have been spectacular but we ran out of steam.

You have two choices when hiking this trail... Stop at the Falls, enjoy the view and return to the trailhead or push on to Booth Lake. We had kids with us so the Falls were our end point. It is a moderate to strenuous hike no matter what the guidebooks say. There are sections where decent elevation gains are happening... More

Booth Falls is a beautiful, natural waterfall just outside Vail easily accessible via the Booth Falls Trail. My wife and I made the 2 1/2 mile climb on a beautiful day in late June with 3 kids (ages 11 & 12) in tow. The terrain is gorgeous throughout the hike, with Booth Falls and a stunning vista of Vail valley... More

What a great place to take the family. Feeding the fish, the museum, the Fish Railroad car are awesome. And best of all it's FREE.

I think what impressed me the most besides the scenery, was that from Booth Falls to Booth Lake it was not crowded and this was a weekend. The trail is easily accessible from I-70. The trail is easy to follow and in two moderate miles you come to the falls. As I mentioned, if you hike further, the crowds are... More
