Interesting golf course that was in decent shape (not nearly as good as either the CC of the Rockies or the Cordillera courses). Many nice vistas. Good driving range. However, the greens fees are outrageous ($160), and the course isn't worth it.

I would not call this a course that is the top shape...the greens are excellent...fairways good. Like most Vail vicinity courses, it is pricey for what it is...the restaurant is okay...drinks are cheap during happy hour. Just don't get you ball above the hole...for a golf course I would give it 3 1/2 stars...I admit, I am picky so enjoy.

We have always golfed at Sonnenalp but then the prices went sky high so we golfed elsewhere but this visit we did the twilight golf and it was perfect. Course is in great shape and nice dinner after in their club house

We stopped at Sonnenalp for their Breakfast Brunch. The food was excellent, coffee was great, and the service was very good. We spent the day walking around the shops in the town, but since it was off season, there wasn't very much to see in the 2 and 1/2 hours we were there.

Obviously the setting is beautiful and the course was well-maintained. There are lots of opportunities to lose balls but it is all worth it having a drink after the round in the lovely clubhouse. There is also a well-stocked Pro Shop.

This is a great way to start a golf trip in the valley. Front 9 isn't to hard, the back 9 is a little tougher, but overal it's a nice course. I've played here over 10x now. Great deals early and late season.

This golf course will test your golf skills, especially #9! The front nine is a bit easier than the back, but the front is also noisier since it gets traffic noise from the freeway. The back nine is higher on the mountain, so less road noise and better views for sure. Only golfed it once so far, but will go... More

Nice course. Hadn't played it before. Some challenging holes to say the least. Definitely worth trying out if you have time.

The course is great and challenging with views! The Pro shop needs to be more aware of guest, shop was stocked well but staff unattentive.

We first played this course years ago when it was Singletree...and then a number of times after Sonnenalp bought it. The upgrade then was dramatic and the stardards remain high. Some great/dramatic tee boxes provide views that go on forever. It is manicured and the staff is efficient and helpful. The only reason it didn't get a 5 is that... More
