It's Vail- what can I say? Fantastic moutain, not too crowded, fast lifts, short wait lines. A bit expensive at $145 per day lift ticket, but worth it.

A good mountain area to ski but not particularly easy for novice skiers probably more suited to intermediate skiers .People who ski in Europe may be disappointed at the lack of mountain restruants and " ambiance " and indeed it is different from Europe in many ways . Still worth a visit but Europe 2.5 hours as opposed to Vail... More

Polished and slick, what a fabulous location for a family holiday. Great service and facilities, not to mention a great deal with an Epic ski pass. Plenty of terrain for the kids with adventure areas although nothing too crazy for the adults who wanted a challenge. Beautiful village with lots of window shopping. Great place but have a full wallet!

Vail is HUGE! I have skied here several times and whilst always enjoying it, it's never been my favourite USA ski spot. However we were fortunate enough to hit it on a couple of powder days last week and it was fabulous! Had two of the best days ever!

Great mountain, great village, great shops and great places to eat. Slopes are well groomed and mountain has a variety of levels from beginners to black diamonds.

Groomed slopes, great variety of terrain, suitable for Beginners, Intermediates and advanced skiers alike. When it has just snowed (we had 1 foot of powder one night on our stay) it is exceptional with absolutely top class skiing.

The Two Elk and Mid-Vail lodges have good ski food and Two Elk provides easy access to the back bowls. Strongly suggest going real early or late to avoid the rush. Tables are easier to find in the back room.

I have been skiing in a lot of different places and this mountain is now my either 1 or 2 (tough call between this one and Mammoth). I was hesitant to try Vail because of it's reputation as a hot spot for celebs and the rich and famous, but it was a really nice mountain with great runs and lots... More

I have skied all over the U.S. the last number of years and have found Vail to be consistently the finest overall skiing experience. Nothing comes close to the back bowls, with their wide open spaces, diverse terrain and terrific glade skiing. The village is first rate, accommodations are available to suit various budgets and the restaurants vary from some... More
