Yes, the tickets are expensive. Yes, you have to pay to park. Yes, people there can be very snotty and rude, whether they are from another country or are Vail Valley residents. But Vail is twice as big as any other resort in Colorado. They get a lot of snow and have so much terrain to ride, you'll never got... more

Well, I finally broke down and spent $97 for lift ticket to ride the "fabulous" Vail Mountain and what a disappointment it was!! Not only was the lift ticket $97 for one day but we had to pay upwards of $20 to park (depending on the lot) and then had to lug our gear for what felt like a mile... more

The Vail experience is just amazing. The mountain is vast and a variety of terrains is mind blowing. Everything is well maintained and groomed. You can easily spend a week there and never ride the same trail again. If you have limited time, make sure to experience the Back Bowls - take the Sleepy Time trail from lifts 4, or... more

Great terrain variety. Lots of people, but the mountain is certainly big enough to handle it. excellent facilities. I would definately recommend vail. more
