Vail mountain provides an experience of a lifetime with terrain for all abilities and needs. The management of the snow with exceptional grooming and reporting on grooming is not to be exceeded! The food services are wonderful allowing everyone to keep hydrated and fed all day!

This is a very expensive mountain, top heavy with expert runs and the trail signage is poor. Good for experts, hit or miss for the rest. We’re pretty competent skiers but we wanted to enjoy ourselves not get annoyed on unnecessarily advanced mogul runs. This happened more than once, there needs to be more grooming of runs particularly considering the... More

An amazing mountain! It has everything you could want to ski, 10x over. It would take weeks to learn all the terrain from one end to the other. The only drawback is the amount of cat tracks that you have to ski in the back bowls. Try the new 10th. Mountain Restaurant for a great lunch.

The best of the best, the trails are endless, with conditions just perfect. Lifts are well maintained, quick and efficient. Crowds to manage to gather on weekends, but on occasion, one may get luck. Park closest to Lionshead village as it is the shortest walk to the lifts. The ski resort is endless, so take time to go thru the... More

We had an instructor who has skied here over 15 years and he still finds new things all the time. Like the totem pole we spotted on the Ledges run. An amazing ski mountain- More trails than anywhere else and something for everyone. Lots of greens/blues/blacks, but also skills runs and special places for kids like forest trails.

Been skiing in CO for the past 5 years and Vail is my hands-down favorite. The best skiing are on the weekdays (Mon-Thu) when the crowds are low. I usually park in Lionshead Village ($25 parking) as it is a shorter walk to the lifts. On a powder day the back bowls are incredible, I don't think any other ski... More

Skied @ Vail during a recent ski trip in Summit County (also skiing @ Keystone & Breck). Weather was unseasonably warm for February - temps in the mid 40s during the day. Despite its lower elevation from the other 2 resorts, conditions were great. Spent most of the day on the back but found lots of wonderful runs w/ great... More

Boarding at Vail was really fun. I'm an intermediate snowboarder and it was great because I felt comfortable on everything. The mountain is huge and the skyline is beautiful!
