This was our first time to really spend some time in Vail during the summer, We decided to ride Gondola One up from Vail Mountain. From there we hiked Fireweed Trail over to Eagle Bahn Gondola. It was an easy hike. Probably took up 30 min. From the Eagle Bahn Gondola we hiked down Berry Picker Trail all the way... More

Amazing place for snowboarders and skiers from all around. Powder snow is the best kind of snow. Lots of bowls, lots of lifts, the staff (lifties, ticket scanners and the colour jackets) is really nice and helpfull.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at beautiful Vail Mountain. We visited in the summer and went on both gondolas and enjoyed the view even though it was raining. The views at the top of the mountain are amazing and the aspen trees lining parts of the mountain are also quite pretty. We walked around the various restaurants and shops in... More

We spent four days skiing and it was great. The conditions were super and we were told we were there in the best condition. Slopes are for all ages and levels. We really enjoyed skiing here.

You have to take the gondola up and hike back down in the summer! The wildflowers and breathtaking views are a MUST SEE :)

This is a beautiful mountain, with aspen trees and conifers. People are mostly outdoor types who like to ski in the winter and rid mountain bikes down the slopes in the summer. During the summer they have some activities up at the top like a ropes course (and a kids' course) and that trampoline thing that's gotten popular. Snack shop... More

We took the hike called 'Berry Picker' on the mountain. It was an enjoyable hike up but the altitude did make it more challenging. We were told that it was at least two hours to the top but we made it in much less time. We were there in July and although the town was busy, the trail was not... More

My family of 5 took the gondola up from Lionshead Village to do the adventure park with the kids. My kids loved the ziplines and the ropes course. We also ate a quick lunch at the top of the mountain. The view is, of course, beautiful....plenty of wildflowers in bloom! My only complaint is the cost. The gondola ride is... More
