Wow, what a great place to see the area from. Lot's of activities for all ages of kids. We had lunch included with our tram ticket and it was good food and a beautiful place to have lunch.

My first skiing experience was here...beautiful powder but I had an instructor who over estimated my ability and told me I could go down an intermediate after a half day lesson. Do not do it. I made it down okay but it took quite awhile...I did love it though and would go again in a heartbeat.

Vast mountain - great skiing. You could spend days here and still not ski it all. Beautiful terrain. Knee deep powder. Great restaurants.

Loved the mini hike we took, which led us to a number of other magical sites to enjoy. We loved how the scenery was gorgeous, great variety of simple terrains, and landmarks of Vail.

We rode the gondola in Vail and it was a beautiful view but I thought the ride was overpriced. The fee is $28 per person. If you buy a lunch pass with it the cost is $34 per person and it includes a $15.00 voucher to use at the top for lunch. That helps out with the high price on... More

We found that the Vail Hiking Guide offers true and realistic descriptions and ratings of the local hiking trails. (NOTE: The only omission of information was a warning that to access the UPPER PINEY RIVER TRAIL, one would definitely require a truck or a 4 X 4 vehicle in order to survive the 10.65 mile drive on the unpaved, rocky... We took the gondola ride to the top from Lions Head. Gorgeous views, great lunch, fun zip-line. The ticket included the gondola in Vail Village so we took it too. Great views going up but not as much to do at the top.

While not the best zip lining I have been on, how can you not zip-line on top of Vail mountain! Several restaurants to choose from and lots of stuff for =kids!

We had the good fortune to visit Vail just as the Aspen trees were at their peak. The gondola ride was the perfect way to view their beauty. We had lunch at the top. A perfect vista.
