This was my first time mountain biking so I was trying to stay on the green runs for the first time down the mountain. There is a separate line for bikers which is nice so the bikes arent in line with everyone else. The attendants do really well getting everyone up the gondola. From the top, it was really hard... took gondola ride up Vail Mountain which was comfortable, beautiful, but pricey. Walking around got us some remarkable photo opportunities and a pretty fair lunch.

Love the gondola rides - we bought the weeks pass & definitely got out moneys worth. Try the cottage fries - YUM Many trails to hike at varying levels of expertise

When we went we had a great power. They had just received a big snowfall the night before, so for us it was an amazing trip. If you liked the woods, they had it. If you like the bowls they have them. if you like to just cruise they got it.

Great place for relaxing, walking, biking, hiking. Enjoy window shopping, or regular shopping or simply people watch.

Best mountain in Colorado. The runs are spectacular, well kept and well marked. Only skiing you need to do is all here.

Vail Mountain does not feel like you are in Amreica (USA). It is so beautiful. Just did not want to leave the place.

We take the tram to the top of the mountain every fall when we are in Vail. The sights never grow old. Watch mountain bikers traverse the trails as you ride the tram. We spend time hiking the trails at the summit. There is always time for cold beer and food before going back down the mountain. Food tastes better... More

Love the Blue Sky Basin for awesome powder skiing. I hate the parking situation. Expensive and you still have to walk 1/2 mile to the slopes.

If you don't mind high prices for lift tickets, food, and drink, this is the place to ski. There are enough areas to be alone with nature.
