I have skied Vail for about 30 yrs now and I still can't find anything better. The place is huge which unless you ski the same super popular trail you shouldn't run into a crowd. I try to ski there a couple times a year when work permits, once with a group of buddies from home and a second time... More

My son and I went mountain biking on Vail Mountain and had a wonderful time. We rented bikes (Charter Sports) with a lift ticket and spent 4 hours on the mountain. We are first timers at mountain biking and it was one of our highlights. Variety of trails for all skill levels. We were adventurous and tried a run on... More

I have been to Vail many times to ski. Never been here during the summer. The hiking, views, mountain biking and adventure ridge are fabulous

The gondola ride to the top is great, and there are some wonderful hiking trails when you get there...Ridge Route to Ptarmigan Loop to Grand Escape Trail makes a nice circuit. The views are extraordinary.

We purchased Adventure Pass Plus for our kids and they had a great time. The kids zip line and kids rope is really meant for little kids, so that was a bit disappointing. The lines for the jumpoline were also very long during the day. We went back at night and there was nobody up there. A gorgeous sunset and... More

I took the gondola up--fun ride. It was wonderful, the mountains are beautiful. We went in the summer--a lot to see and do. A restaurant at top for snacks or drinks. Great experience.

My wife and I hiked the Berry Picker trail and completed it in 2 hours without overtaxing ourselves. I would caution you though that if you are not in reasonably good shape you may have difficulty. The trail was well marked and the views were great. When we arrived at the summit it was obvious many folks did the gondola... More

A quick gondola ride up and you will be viewing some of the most beautiful mountains and valleys Colorado has to offer. During the summer they have the zip lines running, bungy jumps for the kids, obstacle course for all ages, and of course biking, biking, biking. Restaurant at the top with casual fair foods (hot dogs, salads), beer and... More

This is a great hike - somewhat challenging but the vistas are incredible and you can either take the gondola down or do the round trip if you feel like it! This is also the only way to bring your dog up to Eagle's nest!
