Our group of 4 enjoyed a rafting tour with Lakota Guides on the 16th of September. There were not many rafting companies still operating and they were closing soon. The weather was perfect after getting very wet with cold water at the beginning of the tour, we were able to dry out and stay very warm. The length of the... More

We had such an amazing time white water rafting! Amazingly, sunny day and cool breezes. Our guide was experienced, fun and charismatic. She really took the time to get to know everybody on board. HIghly recommend the Colorado river because its just breath-taking, plus since the rapid's weren't too intense the whole time we were able to take in the... More

Bought a Groupon for Paddleboarding, called and made a reservation, they called me back and canceled it, and told me the guy who I spoke with normally doesn't take reservations and he made a mistake. Then about 30 minutes later they called me again and said they had a cancelation. I thought wow, someone is looking out for us, how... More

My husband and I went in the morning Shoshone (pronounced show-SHOW-knee) trip. Lakota runs a good operation, very organized and easy. We left from their Edwards base (although they will pick you up at your hotel if you want) and after getting outfitted with personal flotation devices and helmets, it was about 30-40 minutes on a comfortable bus to the... My first experience at white-water rafting. It was a Level 3; a beautiful day. Tyler was the guide, and he was wonderful. It was fun, peaceful, and beautiful. Would high recommend--and try to have Tyler as your guide!!

This was the first rafting experience for our family including young kids ages 7-12. We chose the Shoshone AM trip, which was a perfect combination of mild whitewater thrills and floating through the beautifully scenic canyons along the river. Our guide, Dane, was awesome. And, the rest of the staff was great too. You can tell they really enjoy their... More

Lakota is top-notch! You can make reservations and sign your waivers online, pick up at your hotel, gear including water shoes are provided, guides are friendly and knowledgeable. The half day Shoshone AM ride included a taco bar lunch which was really good. Photos were taken along the way and can be purchased at your return. The ride was perfect... More

My wife and I took our young daughter river rafting with Lakota Guides' on their Half-day Shoshone AM trip and had a fantastic time. From the online reservation process, through pick-up at our hotel, through gearing up and then hitting the water, Lakota Guides made it exceptionally easy and efficient. Pur guide, Mike, was awesome. He made everyone at ease... More

This was my first time experiencing white water rafting. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful! Their sharing of information about the area, history and geology was fabulous. We had a slight issue with our photos and they were quick to respond and take care of the problem. I recommend them highly if you want a great experience!

Our family had a terrific day rafting Brown's Canyon! As soon as we arrived at the boatshed, the guys at Lakota were very welcoming (and hilarious). Our guide, Dane, was fantastic and we all felt confident and safe on the water with him. The run was a good level for beginners and heaps of fun! And the scenery was gorgeous!... More
