When you go to colorado, you have to experience the outdoors. The mountains and the rivers are the best features this area has to offer its visitors. This trip allows you to experience the beauty of both. The guides are professional, funny, and safe. We brought two teenagers, a 10 year old. and a 8 year old and they all... More

We chose Lakota guides after questioning 2 other companies. I can't really complain about the other companies (also noted in trip adviisor). They all were patient with my many questions but Lakota offered the Shoshone trip not offered by the others from what I could tell. I asked many questions because we are 2 women who have done class IV... More

Four of us rafted down some category 3 and 4 rapids with our guide, Justin (I think that's his name). Great stuff, lots of fun, a few moments of pure excitement but without the impression we were in danger, a great experience. The guides all seem to be friendly and funny. More

Rafting with Lakota was a terrific family day! We had all ages ranging from 5-67 years old and everyone had fun! Our guide Joe, made safety his first priority and made the trip very entertaining with lots of interesting facts about the area! Lakota was on time, organized and very helpful to make sure you have the best experience possible. More

This was our second trip with Lakota on the Arkansas River. Our 21 year old daughter joined us, along with a member of Lakota, so we could have four plus a guide. Lakota provides everything you need except sun screen. Our guide, Keeper, kept us safe and we had a great time. Ryan rode with us and Doug and Joe... More

Lakota did a great job making my small children's first raft trip memorable and fun. The guides were engaging and playful with my four kids ranging from age 2 to 7. We will definitely be back and recommend Lakota to everyone. More

My family and I enjoyed the Shoshone rafting trip with Lakota. The guide was personable and knowledgeable. The views were absolutely spectacular. The river was fast but mostly smooth. It was entertaining and relaxing at the same time. The adults, teenagers and kids all had a good time. More

My husband and I had such an amazing time rafting with Lakota river guides. We went with a group, all of us visiting from Texas, and decided to all upgrade at the last minute to intermediate. It was easy to schedule and the fee was more than reasonable. It will be a fond memory of ours forever. Our guide was... More

We rafted Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River with the Lakota guides Mike, Ryan, Eric, John, and JJ today. From the 7am bus ride to the end of the day we were entertained by our guides. They were knowledgeable about the river and we learned alot and had a great time too. Make sure you ask for them to tell... More
