While not exactly a sport for the weak or those of high-blood pressure, the trip with Lakota was phenomenal. My family of five spent a week out in Vail this past June and this was probably my favorite activity of the week. My family is relatively old (no young kids) so this was perfect for us. Lucky for us, the... More

Did 3 things with Lakota guides. River rafting on Browns Canyon was awesome and Jeff was a great guide even our driver was great(can't remember his name :-( ) took the scenic route back and gave us a lot of interesting information about the area. Thursday was Glenwood Springs bike which was perfect for our kids 8 and 11. We... More

First time for both of us!! Tried the Class III trip - so much fun. I was a very scared first timer and the staff could not have done more to make me feel at ease and provide a fun and safe trip. Go Tasha. When we were done I was ready to go again and try a more challenging... More

I found Lakota Guides online before my husband and I came to Avon, Colorado for a week in June. I did not have a chance to make the reservation ahead of time so I called the day before to see if there was any availability to go rafting. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped us make... More

We took a great rafting excursion today with Mark as our guide. All the guides were amazing and the staff were all very helpful and informative. I highly recommend Lakota!

If you're in or near Vail, Lakota Guides is THE place for all your excursions. I've done a few and have always been very impressed with the outing and the guides! On our recent trip, Erika was a killer guide on the rafts...my favorite activity thus far! Ray did an awesome job during the UTV tour of Bair Ranch too!... More

Just finished a terrific guided rafting tour yesterday on the Eagle River with my wife and two teenaged boys. The guides are outstanding and really make you feel safe and ready to have some serious fun.

Loved our 2 hour ATV Tour! My family of 5 enjoyed the use of 2, 4 seater ATV"s for our tour at Bair Ranch. So much fun, and 4 seater ATV's are a good choice when traveling with folks who don't want to drive their own ATV, or kids who are not yet driving. ATV's had seat belts and handles... More

We just came back from a great rafting trip on the Eagle River with Lakota Guides. The staff were amazing, enthusiastic, conscientious and fun! We had 5 guides in our raft, so I certainly felt safe, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone coming to Beaver Creek/Bachelor Gulch!
