Had never been to Vail/Beavercreek. Stayed in Avon nearby to both areas. Loved all the ski lifts to various mountain tops. Loved all the quaint town areas, too. Plenty of things to find and do from shopping, biking, hiking, spa retreats, pilates, yoga. and more. Saw the Dance & Jazz festival while there, too. Awesome. Will go back, for sure!

One of my most favorite places to ski. Vail has an ambience that haunts, quaint and cute architecture, and the mountains are lovely all around. For me, it has a bit of a European feel to it. I love the variety of the runs and the mountain is beautiful at night with the nights.

Excellent skiing. It's not cheap but the skiing is awesome. Went out there for a spring break trip. It was a little too warm so the snow was sticky but at the higher elevation the snow was pretty good. Lifts get you up quick. Views are priceless.

Hadn't been to the area in 14 years, and what impressed me most was how well the area has 'aged'. The classic ski resort ambience mixes well with the struggle to grow responsibly. Yet the updates like beautifully groomed roundabouts for traffic mean smoothly flowing traffic and no delays. Plenty of fun activities and great eats make this a perfect... More

We were first-timers and had the time of our life. Definitely opt for the VIP seating, a little more expensive, but your back is to the sun so no squinting. We are photographers and adored all the action and events. Surrounding the fairground are food tents, inexpensive and delicious. We had $3 fish tacos! imagine. Also, a tip: sit at... More

To me, there is no where like Vail, especially Vail Village. We have been to Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Keystone, etc. and we like Vail the best. There is so much to do in the Village with all the shops, restaurants, and pedestrian friendly streets. It is wonderful in both the winter and the summer. It reminds me a lot... More

A great place for art galleries and very good resturants. Weekly cooking classes are a must for foodies. Shos at the Vilar theater are reasonably priced and are of very good quality. Pick eithe July or August for festivals.
