A great place for art galleries and very good resturants. Weekly cooking classes are a must for foodies. Shos at the Vilar theater are reasonably priced and are of very good quality. Pick eithe July or August for festivals.

This is a fun family attraction in the summer. It's named Beaver Creek Rodeo but it's held in Avon. It was like a little fair with rodeo games and many visitors showed up wearing western hut and kids dressed in cute cow girls clothes, enjoying the game and food from vendors. They have games that kids can join in between... More

Vail is a wonderful place to vacation. The town and area have so much to do you can come back again and again and not be bored. The town is very well planned and the setting is right in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. There is free bus transportation withing Vail Village and surrounding villages. The restaurants and shopping... More

We went over to Beaver Creek for the evening to enjoy the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The resort is very large with many shops and restaurants. The ice rink is in the middle of everything and during the ceremony there was singing, skating and a visit from Santa Claus. The fireworks were spectacular! We tried to eat here but with... More

Vail and Beaver Creak are right off the interstate with a shuttle bus in between. When I was driving truck coast to coast I loved places right off the highway where I could ski my brains out all day and get right back on the highway. Beaver Creek was more accommodating than Vail on truck parking. Just get on the... More

The views are absolutely gorgeous and serene. The Ritz Carlton & Bachelors Gulch are the top of the line for scenery, design, construction, services, and amenities. Highly recommend a visit to both! But beware, plan on not wanting to return home though. You will want to stay and purchase real estate there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vail/Beaver Creek Resort. First class, attentive, and caring people work in Beaver Creek. Once you adjust to the high altitude, you will love staying in this area. Water and oxygen are offered to guests to help guests make an adjustment to the altitude. Simply gorgeous; and slopes look like fun too.
