I decided to sign-up for a "Max 3" lesson for 179$; great deal. We ended-up with just two in our group with the instructor so this was fabulous. My goal was to become more proficient with the more difficult runs and we worked on some techniques to achieve this well. Very satisfied and will do it again on our next... More

I am 60 years old and in a moment of madness, signed up for a "Max-3" lesson (no more than three people per instructor) to ski bumps. Turns out i was the only person in the lesson.....and 3 hours later i had been transformed from "Oh hell, bumps" to "WHHOOHOO! Bumps!" Amazing, patient instructor.

It's a bit disorganized when you first get up to the school. No greeter no "Hi, let me point you in the right direction". The students look lost and confused as the instructors huddle and mingle with those they know from days past letting you stand their looking foolish for a good amount of unneeded time. Finally, once you get... More

I had 4 of my family in day-long ski lessons this past weekend, and the experience parallels the polarized reviews here: when it's good it's great, but when something is amiss it becomes a larger issue than it should. Also, I'd probably have lower expectations (and thus a higher rating) if the fees were lower. GOOD In one long day,... More

We've been fortunate to go skiing to Vail/Beaver Creek a number if times but this Christmas was the first time we've used the ski school in anger apart from the odd lesson here and there. We sent our 3 year old daughter to lessons on 7 days and she loved every minute of it. The instructors were great with our... More

Excellent first time ski experience. Our instructor, Kelly Gordon, was extremely patient. She made sure that we had a good understanding of our equipment, etiquette, safety, and how to navigate the gondolas / chair lifts. After our one day lesson we were able to navigate our way to the top of Beaver Creek Mountain via Centennial and Cinch lifts and... More

For the second year, my children took lessons with IVAN KARACHOVANOV. Ivan is an affable, funny, experienced instructor. Most of all, he cares. He is able to quickly learn the skier's ability, personality, fears, and strengths. He knows the mountain and will challenge the skier while maintaining safety. No tears at anytime. My children are now skiing blacks, powder, jumps... More

Have had many private and small group lessons before. Stephen Brown was my instructor yesterday and I must say he was excellent. He was excellent with my wife who is a beginner and excellent with my daughter and I who are more advanced. Highly recommend.
