Nice Wedding Venue

I was there to attend a wedding. It's a very beautiful venue. Very rustic indeed! Ladies be careful in high heels as they sink right between the plank flooring. The restrooms are... read more

They've really done a nice job with Piney River Ranch lately, adding stand-up paddle boarding, and other activities. The road out to Piney is hit and miss. Sometimes it's smooth, and other times it's brutally rough and takes a while to get back there. All in all, a great day trip for a family.

What a gem of a place this is! It's worth the 12 miles up a dirt road to see this wonderful place. In the summer, you can get up this road in just about any car, but be aware of the bumps in the road! There are hiking trails all around or you can sit by the lake and have... More

I was there to attend a wedding. It's a very beautiful venue. Very rustic indeed! Ladies be careful in high heels as they sink right between the plank flooring. The restrooms are a bit of a walk up a hill from the celebration area. The 12 mile ride was worth the time. Beautiful scenery. My daughters hiked during the day... More

What a fantastic find!!! You drive a 12 mile dirt road which is driveable in a rental car if you pick and choose your route carefully. It took me about an hour but was well worth the ride. You will have to run your car through a car wash before you return it due to the collection of dust. The... More

Beautiful place. Staff is outstanding. Took a hike and canoe trip and saw Monty the moose. Bumpy road but worth the journey.

Piney Lake Ranch is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Don't be put off by the comments regarding the drive - it is, after all, remote and that is the point. We had 4 children with us: they and parents stayed in the tepees and I stayed in one of the cabins. The children loved the trails... More

I was a little nervous about the drive, given all the discussion from other reviewers about gravel roads, 4 wheel drive, etc. Yes, the road is rough - gravel and not well-kept. So, you just need to go slow and I wouldn't take a high-end car or anything low to the ground. It will indeed take about 40 minutes to... More

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Don't be put off by the crazy, bumpy, rutted 12 miles of dirt road you'll have to drive to get there. It's worth it. The hiking there is unbelievable, with a range of difficulty to suit every member of the family. And while you're hiking you'll be watching some of... More

Absolutely stunning views and scenery. Went to check out accommodations for future visit.....well worth the dirt road drive. Basic lodge, the BEST BLOODY MARYS ever! We only stayed for drinks and pics, but now have all the info needed to plan an overnight or two trip. Everyone there was extremely helpful and nice. This is located in a National Park,... More
