I'm new to camping, but this is a wonderful place. Facilities are clean and plentiful. Short walk to downtown for coffee, groceries, shops, and restaurants. Bring a roll of quarters for hot showers. $3/minutes. The staff is also friendly. We will return!

The town park has just put in a beautiful new swimming pool. There is lap swimming at different times each day. The pool and locker rooms are very clean.

My son had so much fun playing here. He played basketball and fished the children's pond as well as playing horseshoes and on the playground. There is just so much to do. There is also sand volleyball, a pool, and a skate park. We weren't there for a festival so it wasn't crowded at all.

At the end of a Main Street you will find this very nice town park, this is where many of the venues take place, but the best time to go is when nothing is going on. Take a lunch and look at the Rockies, doesn't get better then that.

We visited during the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. There was a nice play area for the kids.

Check in at the rec building to get a free pole and bait for kids in exchange for an adults drivers license or ID. Bring bug spray because the mosquitos are thick around the lake! A small toddler playground adjacent to the lake and a larger playground behind the baseball field. A fun way to spend the day with young... More

This park hosts the Bluegrass festival. Sorry to say, for me, too far from the stage, no shade during the day, lower-end vendors, expected some higher end mountain crafts, art, jewelery, insteady cheap, junky, overpriced items, like a carnival. A shame, since there were people there with money who would have bought nicer memorabilia.

Playgrounds, fields, false, volleyball, ponds, access to fishing hiking and trails and a summer pool? All in a small area that is postcard perfect, and a few block from downtown and most lodging

Here for bluegrass festival. Amazing setting in God's amphitheater! Surrounded by mountains and snow capped peaks in June. Well manages event, lots of porta potties, lots of toilet paper, good lighting at night. Great event staff keeping the positive chaos fun! Beside a creek and pond, good shady areas in the trees. No shade on field, bring an umbrella! Good... More
