I have been to a few shows at the Opera House and it is just a special place. It is a completely restore old west theater that was built in 1910. I holds around 250 people and has show that are seated or others where the lower level seats are out for dancing. This is the best place to get... More

Went to a wedding reception here in September this year and was blown away by how unique this place is. Four levels of cozy partying embellished with history. It was beautiful.

This is such a terrific venue in terms of its size and intimacy with the artists. I heartily recommend this venue for musical performances and suggest that you keep an eye on their website for upcoming artists and music festivals.

Tucked away behind the hotel Sheridan is the old Opera House of Telluride. Decorated in American Art Nouveau, it is a gem to behold this rustic opera house of the west. Lovely Gem!!

This 100 year old opera house really did it for me and my group of friends. We did not even know who were going to see. What we found was anyone would sound good in this venue with acoustics like I have never heard before...it almost moved me to tears. And as it turns out the organization's choice of acts... More

While in Telluride I had a chance to see a film at the opera house. I love the small venue, the balcony and the intimacy of the space. The sound and lighting work perfectly and it was wonderful to hear of the history of the opera house and experience it for myself. If you get a chance, you should go.

The old town feel, The Opera House is a historical site here in Telluride. It makes you feel like it would back in the day it opened.

We saw a film while in town for a conference. The wooden folding chairs were not ideal for long-time seating. The theatre is lovely and kudos to Telluride for keeping it alive!

Never been to a local theatre like this. Felt like Abe Lincoln and cohort are in the balcony. Worth the time warp experience.

The Sheridan, built in the early years of the 20th Century entirely by the miners of Telluride, is an authentic Colorado opera house. Ronnie Palamar and her team do an exceptional job of keeping this tiny jewel - only 250 seats tops - on the front line of Colorado performance venues with great live entertainment at all times of year....
