I have only taken part in the Sheridan Saloon - Great Bar! It has a great old-school Victorian decor - and welcomes everyone. There are fancy couches to sit on up front, a balcony area and large back room with pool tables. nice quiet place to grab a cocktail in the afternoon/early evening and fun bar to close at night.

We visited in the off-season. This newly renovated hotel was very charming although our room was on the small side it was cute. It even had heated tile bathroom floors. There were no hidden fees and they had free permit on-road parking. While we only dined in the restaurant once (breakfast), the menu selection and service would probably get 4-stars.

I felt like I went back in time to the late 1800's when I walked into the hotel. The room was small, nothing fancy, no frig or coffee pot, but who needs that with all of the activities in town just outside the front door. I slept like a baby. I loved the old fashioned shower and sink. Very clean!... More

I liked the historical character of the hotel, but the modern conveniences. Our room was large and the king-sized bed comfortable. Our view was great when you looked up at the mountains, but bad when you looked down at overflowing trash bins, broken furniture and restaurant equipment, and snow shovels and ladders tossed up on the neighbor's decrepit roof. Loved... More

Very comfy, good sized room. It's pricey, as others have stated, but this is a very chi-chi kind of location. No parking on site - you get a permit to park in side-streets around the hotel. Interestingly we were supplied with earplugs and a warning that the status of Telluride as a party town could render them useful (not needed... More

A little on the pricey side, but excellent steaks and mussels. Good wine selection too. Service was professional and timely. Well worth a visit.

Everyone should know about the history of this hotel! Learned about it while on Tasting Telluride Tour with Howie and Lois Stern. The general manager was pleasant and informative of the many visitors that have spent time there. The Saloon is a longtime local favorite. The food was delicious. The decor is understated and elegant.

If you are looking for a REALLY good burger and amazing fries..this is the spot. The burger is big enough to split..just FYI. Bloody Mary's are just ok, even though they look good.

Hanging at the bar at the New Sheridan is a lot fun, especially in low season when you get a great glimpse of the locals.
