I was in Telluride on business (yes, really!) in late February and stayed at the New Sheridan Hotel for five nights. My third floor room was perfect -- I had the desk I needed to work, I had views to the east and to the south of the ski area and the bedding was just right. There was even a... More

Had an incredible meal at the New Sheridan dining room while in Telluride recently, strongly recommend. Also, the bar outside the dining room and the original bar next door are worth spending some time at.

This is a great hotel in a great location. Love the heated bathroom floors. Get to sit in the hot tub at the end of the day and look at where you just skied. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff and service. Chop House restaurant is outstanding. Roger Mason's fabulous artwork covers the walls.

Updated and beautifully appointed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Would stay again. The heated bathroom floor was a welcome surprise!

Nice bar area with music (although the only song being played that we recognized was the first.....the rest were unrecognizable as to artist or name) although the music could be vastly improved. Pool tables in the back and card games (?) upstairs. Bar area is old (as it should be in old western towns) and the bartenders were prompt, friendly... More

My husband and I walked in without a reservation. We were given a quirky little lone table tucked into a corner with a nice picture window onto the street. It was really charming. Service was good, straightforward, pleasant. I ordered a dish with spinach salad, nut coated trout and a poached egg. Sounded great. They were out of the trout so... More

The vegetarian choices at lunch were very limited so I ended up having the fish tacos which were fine, but not particularly special. The restaurant itself is very nice, but the menu was less than satisfying.

Had walked through the New Sheridan hotel as part of a walk around tour we had taken. Was really intrigued by the history of the hotel and the bar. Decided to come back after the tour and have a drink at the bar and wasn't disappointed at all! A lot of locals like to hang out here...very low key atmosphere... More

I stayed in Telluride for one month this summer and did not have the pleasure of staying at this property however I ate most meals there and I must say they have the finest service, food, location and flair. It still amazes me that Ray, the GM always remembers your name and they treat their clients with such respect and... More

We visited the Sheridan to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We are fortunate that the weekend fell right before the opening of the Gondola for the summer festival season but well after the weather gets nice in town. The building is a beautiful old place, with a great staircase and rooftop hot tub. Check-in and out took longer than expected,... More
