This is a neat old classic. When most of the "ski towns" are tearing out the old and presenting a better new, these folks have kept to the hotels roots. The hallways are worth a walk to see photos of Tellurides history along with some really nice antiques. The room we stayed was spacious and quaint, with a big bed.... More

I've only dined at the Sheridan once - our group was uniformly delighted with the service and quality of the food. What I enjoy more frequently is the bar! Great service and atmosphere - a favorite stop for drinks either before or after skiing, dinner....whatever!

What do I like about the New Sheridan? In short, everything about the place. As Telluride locals, we visit the place frequently, mostly to enjoy a meal at the hotel's ever popular restaurant, The Chop House, but a few years back, just before Christmas we went on a date at the hotel. Our room was one of the 26 new... More

Very good breakfast after a hard night of partying. Right in downtown Telluride, takes you back to the 1890s.

This is a great place to stay in order to truly experience the historic Telluride culture. The rooms are wonderful and the food is even better. They were very accommodating and brought room service during the busy dinner rush.

Really good selection of wines. The menu has options for everyone, very international. The restaurant has many different rooms and corridors, the decore and ambiance change foe each one.
