Truly beautiful. Steep at points, but plenty of downhill in spots too. Less steep if started at Cornet Falls bridge area- if started on Imogene/Tomboy road, you'll be going up more, I think. Gorgeous river views, aspen views, mountain views- it's just a constant pleasure. Bring enough water and a camera- and be ready for a fun time!

A bit of a step climb but well worth it. Pass amazing glades of Aspen, evergreens, and lots of wildflowers. The views of Telluride and Bridal Falls are amazing!

This hike is a nice loop, but it's not a stroll in the park. The first half is a steady uphill climb. Make sure you have sunscreen on and have insect spray available-the black flies were pesky! Also bring water. The views of Telluride and the ski slopes were stunning.

The elevation made it challenging... but there was plenty to see. The view of the box canyon alone was worth every step. Highly recommended as a starter hike on day 1 ... gives you a perfect lay of the land.

We hiked Jud Wiebe as part of the Sneffels Highline Loop. So beautiful, but definitely not easy. Watch for mountain bikers (and admire their courage).

I was in town for a friend's wedding and wanted to do something outside the morning of the ceremony and reception. No one I was with wanted to go so I did it solo. I left around 9 and about every 15 min ran into another group hiking, so I didn't feel too alone. Round trip took me 2 hours... More

The guides suggest locals do this when they want a quick walk but it's actually fairly rigorous and a good 90 minutes of trekking. You go through at least 4 eco systems and climb a fair bit. Views are forest, bridal veil falls (from quite a distance) but mostly the town itself.

In addition to the Bear Creek Trail and Cornet Falls, this was a great couple hour hike straight from town. Took the whole family. Lovely forested terrain.

Another fun Telluride hike. Great exercise and views, fun people on the trail, lots of rushing water to add even more atmosphere, and enough mining remnants to remind you of the history of the area.

alright i'll admit it.. i didn't make it to the top. i'll chalk it up to the fact we were on a relaxing vacation. don't take the 2mile hike as something easy! we got up past the water treatment facility on the bend and took some fantastic pictures. the trail is steep and on a warm spring day it was...
