The village reminded me of being in Switzerland. We are recently retired couple and really enjoyed riding the gondola up to the village, exploring the shops, taking in all the fresh air and then eating! We had the best hand tossed pizza at Crazy Elk Pizza place. We will be back!

First time to the area and we will return because of Mountain Village. Convenient, off the beaten path, accommodating, and every need is near. Actually like Mountain Village better than the town of Telluride

Definitely worth a visit. Shops and restaurants are noteworthy. Peaceful and quaint during early Fall where you can find good sales and discounts for dining.

We took the gondola from town to Mountain Village, expecting much more than we saw once we got there. There is a conference center, a couple of hotels, including a Fairmont, but the "village" had a lot of empty store fronts and little shopping unless you were looking for outdoor clothing. Perhaps in the winter there is more to offer,... More

We were there in the 'off season' but it was still brimming with people. Fun place to dine outside and people watch.

We were there in September and it was very quiet. Hardly anyone around. We could only imagine how busy the place is during ski season. But we enjoyed wandering around and just looking at everything. Such a pretty place. Well worth the gondola ride up and back.

Multiple little villages within the village to explore between groups of hotels. You will find art, tourist shops, pubs, bars, gourmet restaurants, grocery store and more. All within walking distance. Very Swiss mountain feel. Stunning properties and meticulously maintained. Connected by roads, walkways, and the gondola. Can find things in any budget if you know how to shop and find... More

Provides additional restaurant and shopping opportunities beyond that of Telluride. There are also hotel accommodations which I did not use, but there appeared to be excellent selections located throughout the main village.

This is a beautiful modern area built just a tram ride away from historic telluride, there are actually two trams end to end that you can take yo see the modern section. The scenery is incredible.
