Mountain Village is a master planned ski and golf community at the base of the Telluride ski resort. It is very convenient for skiing and easy access to the town of Telluride. The architecture and views are beautiful. It is on the expensive side. However, if you are like looking for a quiet stay or traveling with kids, this would... More

Perched high above the adorable town, Mountain Village provides more elbow room and amenities. The gondolas take you everywhere, including downtown. When done with the town for dinner or whatever, you just take the gondola back up to the lap of luxury. Many of the places are quite luxurious, and are ski in and out. Grocery stores and other places... More

Visited here in January for the past three years. It is a wonderfully quiet place, great access to the slopes and a number of good placed to eat.

Mountain Village is beautiful, lots of restaurant and a great place for in/out skiing. there are lots to do for... More

Mountain Village is the luxe and very pricey base of the Telluride ski mountain. There was no development here until the ski area was founded in 1972, and development since has focused on highly deluxe accommodations, restaurants, residential houses and condos, and pricey retail shops. It's a great place to wander around, but be prepared to pay about 30% or... More

Much quieter than Telluride, but right on the slopes and easy access via free gondola to town. Several hotel and condo accommodation options as well as shops, restaurants and entertainment. Everything is a short walk around the village so convenience is the selling point for staying in Mountain Village. Heated sidewalks in the main square keep things clear when it... More

Mountain Village is at the bottom of the ski slopes. It has numerous restaurants, hotels and restaurants. It is a great place to hang out.
