The best snowboarding I have ever done was on the snow at Telluride. It feels like butter and there is seldom a wait line for the big lifts. The views are breathtaking.

Was skiing in paradise, sunny skies, fresh snow, no lift lines, well groomed trails, absolutely the best skiing ever for me!

sun, rain, mountain weather, friendly people, dog-friendly, shopping bargains, happy hours, your 50 word minimum counter is off quite a bit I had to add padding or it would not let me post this after 60 characters.

Spring storm brought cold weather and fresh powder to mountain. I was about to hang up my skis for the season.

Telluride is a quirky and quaint town, with a permanent population of about 2300. The town prides itself on its history and you can see the effort made to celebrate and preserve that. According to the locals, winter is when the town really comes to life, because of the Telluride Ski Resort. I prefer summer activities. There are several easily... More

I love skiing here and the locals are really lovely folks. The mountain is truly spectacular. Plenty of terrain opportunities for all levels. Great on-mountain dining possibilities too. But, let's not forget the summers- fabulous weather... Terrific hiking too. Love the free gondola. No cars needed here. Oh, and don't miss the Telluride Fire Festival coming this JAN. 15-19, 2015... Telluride is wonderful for skiing at any level. Its beauty is what makes it standout from other ski resorts. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Visited in the summer and attended a music event. Town and mountain were beautiful but every local we encountered was either indifferent, haughty or just downright hostile. You got the sense that many residents are independently wealthy, couldn't care less if anyone visited their town and really wished that they could have sealed the town up right after they moved... We have been to the resort a few times now in different seasons. We just went and had a great time as a summer visit. Plenty of places to shop, eat, and play for families and couples. Connected to the free gondola that will take you from the resort into town. We were here for a wedding in the fall... More

A really nice change from a large California resort. Not a whole lot of people on the hills we were skiing. Only downfall is they could use some more high speed chair lifts. Our favorite hill didn't have one, but it was still wonderful skiing. However, the Gondola is great!
