Being on a 2 week ski road trip though Idaho, Utah and Colorado I must say Telluride was the best, sorry Sun Valley you have much nicer day lodges, but the step tree runs and bowls at Telluride won me over.

They don't get as much snow as some resorts, but they had plenty, and there was no shortage of runs for us during our 5 days of skiing. Mountain personnel are super friendly, the views are incredible, diverse runs, some really incredible food options on the mountain, and when you finish your day, depending upon where you end it, you... A group of three couples drove to Telluride this past weekend. The snow was great, the weather beautiful. The advanced skiers in our group loved the terrain (and lack of crowds) and the newbies loved their group lessons. This resort is no Deer Valley, but we loved it!

Despite its high altitude, we love coming to this resort. There are minimal queues for lifts, snow is usually plentiful and the resort provides a safe and fun family atmosphere.

Okay, so if you are remote and this is the only thing you have going in the area, you charge up the yin yang for it. Well, yes, the runs where groomed close to perfectly the two days I was here. I could ski just about anywhere and get done the runs, so safe for most people. The mountains in... More

We skied at Telluride the second week in January with a ski club. It was our first ski trip to Colorado and we loved every minute. We stayed in 2 bedroom condos of Mountain Lodge that are a short walk to two beginner slopes, and also a short walk to the free gondola system that transports you to the town... More

We were in Telluride just after Christmas for the first time, and we LOVED IT! We had a 5 and 6 year old in ski school and 3 teenagers with a private instructor (Rogan). My 5 year old daughter hates to be dirty, doesn't really like swimming, and hates to be cold, so we were crossing our fingers that she... More

We love skiing at Telluride. The town, mountain village, and actual ski experience are excellent. This is the only mountain I know of that has wonderful beginner terrain at the top of the mountain; great for learning to ski and the super views. We are advanced skiers and there is abundant places to ski for all levels. Other then holidays,... More

I haves skied over 50 resorts and visited more to mountain bike and check out he terrain, Telluride IS the most beautiful of them all. First class service in many ways from maps on some chair lifts, free sunscreen at the ticket office, delicious food everywhere to the AMAZING VIEWS of the many 13 and 14,000 foot nearby peaks. Lift... More

Having taken several private ski classes in previous years and not seeing much improvement, I was a bit skeptical about taking one more; but my husband insisted my daughter and I take at least one day of instruction before going skiing again. I can honestly say that this year has definitely been the best one yet! We hired Sem Walls,... More
