Great place to ski

Granted we were lucky and got lots of snow but this place is awesome. Short lift lines, long runs, plenty of corduroy and bumps. Can't wait to go again.

We started skiing in Telluride 5 years ago, and have never had any desire to ski elsewhere. The schools and lessons are second to none, Mountain Village is so much fun, lots of great food, the mountain has so many options for beginners to advanced, and you can still get amazing views as a brand new beginner. LOVE this ski... More

Do you love powder skiing? This is your place. Some of the prettiest slopes in the world are in Telluride. I don't ski, but my husband grew up in Colorado, and skied everywhere but here. So I took the Gondola to meet him on the slopes at the wonderful restaurants, and he would ski down for a rendezvous. What could... More

Okay, the lift tickets are about $100 per day, but there are 10 lifts, almost never a line and always open. The skiing was great, despite the fact that it was a little light for the year. Check out the Prospect Glades. Plenty of access to hiking and ski runs. One of the best.

This would have to be one of the best places to ski. Lots of powder snow and plenty of runs to choose for every ability. Magnificent in many ways a must to add to any ski bunnies bucket list. A bit of alitude sickness can be a problem but drink lost of water it really does help

This is a beautiful ski resort!! If you are a beginner (snow plow all the way down), Telluride might be a bit of a challenge for you. It is more steep than most resorts, but if you're comfortable with this, it is a great Rocky Mountain experience!!!

We just got back a few days ago from Telluride. It was one of the best ski places we have ever skied. (Utah, Tahoe, Switzerland, Canada). Coming from the Northeast, conditions were still amazing when we arrived even with no snow in a month. In the east, we are used to skiing in cold weather with icy patches. I didnt... More

Snow had gotten a little thin, but we had a fun weekend and would make sure to come back here again... lift lines were short and the staff were friendly. Like everywhere, the lunchtime rush was a madhouse and the jostling to find a seat was a pain, but that's the same at every ski destination...

Hard to have a bad time when you receive 26" of fine powder. This was the first powder day of 2015 so lift lines were long, but once the avalanche control opened more territory the lines lessened and we still were skiing powder. Many lifts are still fixed grip, but rise quickly. They need to upgrade some lifts but the... More

It doesn't get any better than this for a skier's paradise. It's not the easiest place to get to from the East Coast but well worth it. Telluride accommodates all skier levels. Groomed trails, gnarly shuts, bowls, tree skiing....Take the Village Express Lift to Boomerang for a groomed run dotted by slopeside homes. You might even check out Oprah's new... More
