Visited in the summer and attended a music event. Town and mountain were beautiful but every local we encountered was either indifferent, haughty or just downright hostile. You got the sense that many residents are independently wealthy, couldn't care less if anyone visited their town and really wished that they could have sealed the town up right after they moved... We have been to the resort a few times now in different seasons. We just went and had a great time as a summer visit. Plenty of places to shop, eat, and play for families and couples. Connected to the free gondola that will take you from the resort into town. We were here for a wedding in the fall... More

A really nice change from a large California resort. Not a whole lot of people on the hills we were skiing. Only downfall is they could use some more high speed chair lifts. Our favorite hill didn't have one, but it was still wonderful skiing. However, the Gondola is great!

We like the friendliness of the resort, plenty of good conversations to be had on the ski lift and in the bars and restaurants, and in the hot tub after a long day skiing. The skiing was good given the time of year and the number of dry days, but the choice of restaurants and bars more than made up... More

I spent three days skiing here with my wife and teenage daughter in late March / early April. We found the resort to have pretty much everything we wanted plus lots that others might like. There are well defined areas for different abilities (beginner, intermediate, advance, and chutes cliffs etc). We found plenty of snow, even in April -- the... More

Our 2nd time to this fantastic place to spend Spring Break! It's not crowded, since it's a bit hidden in the San Juan Mts. and it takes about 1 1/2 hours to drive from the Montrose Airport. Lovely town with fantastic restaurants with a Gondola that takes you back and forth to the Mountain Ski Village where we stayed. No... More

Out of the 30 or more mountains i have visited across the globe, Telluride is my favorite. Perfect combo of great town, great terrain, great people, great views and great bars and restaurants.

You really can't beat the scenic views of this luxury ski resort. The lift lines are short and the runs are well maintained. Plenty of terrain for skiers. This is not a great resort for boarders as the terrain lends itself more to skiers , which I do both. People who work here are genuinely happy and helpful which makes... More

Loved the town of Telluride. Easy to get around by foot. Great restaurants! Everyone in all the shops and restaurants and on the slopes was super friendly. One staff member even carried my skis up the stairs to the gondola for me; I didn't ask, he offered. The views from the top of the mountain are fantastic! The only negative... More
