Easiest clothing store you'll ever shop in. Friendly staff that knows their product ranges with exceptional detail, FM has a broad variety of western wear, with cowboy boots and hats a specialty. If you've never been to Steamboat, but need to accomplish some retail therapy, a visit here is a must.

Great selection of hats, boots and clothing and staff. And they ship. Ask for Harry, he was very helpful and knowledgable of his inventory.

I've been going to Steamboat for about forty years. The signs along the road made you want to see what this store is all about. They have a lot of nice items but they are not cheap. They have probably the largest selection of western boots and hats that I have seen.

I had been driving on Route 40 and noticed the dozens (hundreds?) of hand painted signs for this regional outfitter. Naturally, I had to stop in an see what it was all about. The shop was smaller than I had imagined but it was jam packed with all sorts of western wear. Boots. Cowboy hats. Outer wear. You name it!... More

Saw the advertising boards miles before we even got to Steamboat Springs so just had to visit. Such an array of beautiful boots and hats, and fascinating to see how the hats are moulded to shape by hand : Very friendly staff. Of course rather pricey which one can expect.

We read the history of the store and were motivated to visit it. A great history of perseverance and accomplishment ... a testament to the American Dream. Nice selection of hats and quality clothing. The only negative thing I would say is that we were disappointed to see some "made in China" items... only because it is a piece of... More

This shop is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. My daughter had been wanting some new boots. Like any teenage girl she needed to try on several pair. The staff were great with her and her indecisive ways. My boys age 9 and 11 loved look around at all the cool western stuff. The discount rack was very... More

Great staff, great selection of hats and boots. Good discount rack, and of course the classic pony out front for the kids. The heart of Steamboat Springs. Love this place.

This is the place you'll find it. Anything your heart desires in western apperal. They have been in business forever. You won't miss the advertising signs leading up the highway to their store either. They have a huge wall of boots. Every size, shape, and color. If nothing else, it's fun to stop in and see why they have so... More

Stopped in after lunch and on the way out of town, after a long weekend family ski outing, with my wife and one of my daughters. I have been keeping an eye out for hunting/cold weather boots that fit with soles I liked and had found some Rocky Boots and others in the recent past that I would have purchased... More
