It is family friendly and has been the place for recreation and rejuvenation for visitors and locals alike for over 100 years. The swimming and soaking pools served as a gathering and bathing place for the Ute Indians who first settled in the area. Then in the late 1800s, it was a social spot and a bathing place for the early homesteaders. The Old Town Hot Springs sits at an elevation of 6,700 feet and offers eight pools, including two 230-foot waterslides, a 3,000 square foot hot activity pool, an aquatic rock climbing wall, refurbished Heart Spring pool, eight lap lanes and more. It is a non-profit, multi-use complex open seven days a week, year-round. « less

Great time with two kids (4&7)....they loved wandering around to all the areas of the pool. We didn't do the slide because neither of the kids are "strong swimmers" as they recommend, but that looked pretty fun. The only downside was that it was pretty pricey, although they do have a "family" price. It was nice to be able to... More

Every time we are in Steamboat we go to the hot springs after climbing, skiing, or hiking around town or up on the mountain. The slides are great and the climbing wall is so much fun seeing as you fall back into the water if you dont make it. The pools are different temperatures and perfect for everyone. Some of... More

We chose Old Town Hot Springs over Strawberry Park for the convenience and also because it seemed better suited for our 7-year-old. We were pleasantly surprised by how much fun we had. It was really cool to swim in the steaming pools in the dead of winter! Our son could have stayed there all night going down the water slides.... More

The Old Town Hot Springs are conveniently located, clean, modern, and staffed with friendly people. The guest locker rooms are clean, and we rented some small lockers for a quarter each. They rent towels for a buck, but we brought our own. They have a swimsuit centrifuge to dry your suit before you go home. They have several hot tubs,... More

Old town has been an excellent place for my boyfriend and I while in Steamboat Springs. We have utilized the fitness center which is average. The machines are very nice! I have to say the best part is being able to do cardio and watch the weather (very enjoyable when it's snowing.) The number of cardio machines (elipticals) are limited... More

Sore after a long day of skiing? Sure that hotel hot tub will work, but you are in a town called "Steamboat Springs", so why not take advantage of the natural hot springs? If you are feeling adventurous you can drive up to Strawberry Park, but if you' don't want to drive 20 minutes up into the hills, this is... More

We went to the old town hot springs on a Friday evening, so not too crowded with skiers or kids. It's a very pleasant way to spend a winter evening under the stars. Outside it has a mix of natural mineral hot spring pools and a chlorinated hot tub pool; inside there's a heated lap pool. And it's a hoot... More

And on top of the fee (I think it was about $16/person) there was $1 per towel and $0.5 for a locker. And more for the slide. Our 30 min in turned out very expensive. Better value if staying all day. Not bad experience if you enjoy hot springs, better if it snows.

A very nice, clean, and reasonably price spa. Very nicely layout, great service and very good value. I purchased the "triple" (workout, soak and massage). If you get a massage, ask for Doreen. 18 years of experience, friendly, and extremely competent! A must do while in Steamboat!

Great place to soak and relax. Great for kids too, friendly staff and nice and clean. It's a little pricey ($16 a day for adults $9 for kids) but that's for all day. Come in the morning, take a lunch break and come back. In the winter the slides (cost extra) aren't open until 4pm. Big pool in warm, hot... More
