This place is walking distance from downtown. A group of families came here for tubing. it was not too crowded and was a good time for all. Prices were reasonable and the course was not too fast for the younger kids. Staff was friendly

This looked a like a fun place to take the kids, but be aware, if it is snowing, they can't keep the tubing lanes up to speed. Unfortunately, we chose to go snow tubing on our last day of our trip, and it had been snowing all day. The tubes could barely make it a third of the way down... More

Poorly run, dangerous and should not be allowed to operate. We went because our normal place was closed, Saddleback Ranch. The tubing runs are being manned by younger kids. While we were there I had the experience of being in an accident where our tubes crossed over to the other lane and directly hit another child tubing down, he was... More

I apologize that you had a bad experience at the tubing hill - this is definitely not a normal experience. Our ski area supervisor immediately inspected the tubing hill for safety and we groomed the hill the night we received this - we groom the hill regularly to ensure that the tubing corridors are smooth with adequate snow berms to... We had seen the Howelson Ski area for years and had never stopped. This year we took a day off and went tubing. The kids loved it. People there were nice. And it was facinating watching all the kids practicing various ski disciplines.

It was a rainy/snowy night but the kids had a great time and it did not break the bank. An hour of tubing was plenty for us since the rain made it pretty wet but a fun something to do one night before dinner and after a day of activities.

We brought a group of 8 to tube after a day if skiing. It is centrally located, fairly inexpensive and so much fun! There are only two short runs which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. However, we loved the kids who worked at the top of the hill including our buddy Charlie from Minnesota and really... More

There's no better place to catch the alpenglow and sunset in Steamboat than from the top of our tubing hill. We're thrilled you had a good time. More

Excellent place for tubbing with the family. The ramps are fast enough to enjoy, and not too fast to injure. Service excellent.

Perhaps a little pricey but a great way to get acclimated to altitude and do something as a prelude skiing (the next day). People can go down (on individual inner tubes) in pretty much any configuration they want, but I noticed the real daredevils perch on their knees (and wipe out about 60% of the time). The hour-time limit is... More

Have been here a couple of times, best experience this time for tubing. Not crowded (although reservation needed), probably rode 10X over the course of an hour. Safe, fun, great for kids, with friendly people. Convenient to downtown.

My husband & I went here for adage. You have to make reservations ahead of time. We found coupons in town. It's right in the middle of town so it was easy to get to. The kids working there are friendly & made it more enjoyable. Sam & Connor were at the top of the hill and really made it... More
