This is not our first visit since we are members. Just want everyone to know that this museum has very well know artists work being shown from private collections on exhibit over the years. Ranging from Western, Flowers, Portrait, even Russian Artists, Plein Air, Photos. They change exhibits about three times a year. There are three large rooms for each... More

Was lucky enough to be in steamboat for an exhibition opening here. 1 of the artists attended and the docents were excellent. Great sense that the community supported events.

Good exhibit well mounted. Descriptive information well written. Friendly docents, nice gift shop with unusual items. Since the exhibits are ever changing, we can go every time we visit Steamboat.

Be sure to check out the free art museum downtown - it's amazing who steamboat gets for shows - contemporary artists Scott Christenson, Clyde Aspervig, Jean Perry, David Taylor (qulits) are just a few of the artists we've managed to walk in and find on the walls! they also host art seminars and workshops - be sure to check their... Worth a stop in while your downtown. It’s not very big so you'll get through it pretty quickly. Enjoyed it and its worth the price of admission; free.

This small museum (gallery, really) is located in the middle of downtown and could be easily overlooked - if you weren't actively looking for it. When we were there, there was a fabulous nature photograpahy exhibit. Definitely worth a visit. (Did I mention that admission is free?)

The Art Museum was exhibiting the art works of a Denver artist called Qhang Ho. Love his paint strokes; wonderful use of colors in his works. I highly recommend going there to see his oil paintings. The place is not huge but adequate. If you are in downtown, don't miss it.

Beautiful space, nicely done. Host was knowledgable and very pleasant. No fee but donations accepted. Saw Quang Ho exhibit....absolutely glorious. Perfect place for a little quiet time.
