All in all a great experience - beautiful views and the folks who lead you on the ride are extremely friendly and seemed totally willing to to let you pick their minds about horses and horseback riding (for the uninitiated).

My 14 year old son and I enjoyed a two hour trail ride at Saddleback and was really impressed with the standards customer service and friendliness of everyone (even those with four legs!) Clean tidy environment Healthy well groomed horses with kind temperaments and individual personalities. (No dull matted coats and exposed ribs here) Knowledgable and friendly wranglers who took... This is great fun for all the family. My grandkids loved the mini snow mobiles and the warming hut is full of goodies to eat and drink when the weather gets cold.

We rode with Saddleback Ranch last week. To be honest I expected to ride a horse that was worn down and didn't really expect to herd any cattle. Maybe see a few on the trail, but actually herd them? What we did blew my expectations away. First off the horses were awesome, well behaved ranch horses. The ride wasn't along... More

We went to this company for horseback riding due to their awesome ratings on trip advisor and they did not disappoint! From the moment we got there, grounds are meticulously clean, and every single staff was professional and looked like they loved their job. We went on the 9:00am two hour horseback ride. Myself and 10 year old daughter. Our... More

Me, my daughter and sister went on a Cattle Drive at the Ranch....AWESOME experience! We always try to trail ride when we go on vacation, but since we own horses and ride several times a week, we don't always like the nose to tail type rides, so when we saw they offered a cattle drive we had to to do... We did a two hour trail ride. It was a nice ride. My kids had never ridden a horse before and they did really well, they did get a little restless at the end.

Went on the two-hour group ride with my daughters who are 14 and 10 years old. What an amazing day we had! They views were absolutely gorgeous, the guides were very helpful and engaging, and the horses were perfect for the people in our group as they were mostly beginners. I highly recommend this place. It's a great value for... More

The guides, view, and ride were fantastic. In addition to approximately 50 horses on property that are well trained and regularly ridden, the guides were extremely familiar with the property, the animals, the ranch's operations and were able to answer any questions that the very curious kids had on our tour. The tour itself was a great balance of relaxation... More

I have mixed thoughts about our experience. (This was my third time on a commercial ride and I am an intermediate rider.) The scenery was stunning. It totally made the experience. I was a little uncomfortable with our guides for our group of 12. One - the college student - was friendly and personable. The other must have been the... More
