I took my twin 9 year old daughters and their 9 yr old friend on the two hour trail ride! This is not your average trail ride where the horses follow each other single file on a trail. My daughters have taken riding lessons, but their friend had not. This trail ride was great for all of us. The horses... More

We booked a dinner with Saddleback Ranch and from the lady who booked our reservations to Mac and Z our guides, to the family who served us dinner, everything was awesome and just amazing. We arrived and were greeted with smiling, friendly faces. We all got assigned horses and then took off on a beautiful trail ride that ended at... More

We choose Saddleback Ranch due to proximity to Steamboat as well as some reviews we read in a magazine. We were VERY happy with the experience and will go back to Saddleback for other occasions on our next visit. While the horses were well trained and could stay on a trail, the guide took us off trail through the beautiful... More

This is an amazing place. We did the horse back riding, and although we have done that before, the guides and owners of this ranch were just wonderful. They were friendly, fun and the real deal. I would highly recommend any and all events at Saddleback Ranch to anyone visiting Steamboat.

We really enjoyed tubing down the three different runs at Saddleback. It was worth the drive from Steamboat Ski area. We got to see some great views of the valley. It was muddy, and we almost needed a 4WD to get there. The staff was friendly. It seemed a little expensive for all 5 of us to tube, but the... More

My whole family drove from Avon to Steamboat to take advantage of the great value of this attraction. Other tubing areas around Avon were expensive. This was only $30 a person for two hours. Looking back, my husband and I should have just done one hour for $19 and let the kids do the two hours. One hour was enough... More

We spent 3 days of our vacation with this wonderful ranch family. We went snowmobiling, went in the sleigh ride dinner, and horseback riding. The ranch is 8,000 beautiful acres with an eye-popping view everywhere you look. Our 3 guides were all welcoming, charming, and engaging. They provide a shuttle to and from your lodging, and make you feel 100%... More

Amazing ride through the snow up the mountain. Thought it was going to be just a simple trail ride. Had no idea just how awesome it would be. Much more challenging and scenic than I thought. Not so hard that my twin 12-year-olds who had never ridden a horse before couldn't do it, but no simple walk down a street.... More

We went on the Hee Haw experience. Which included tubing, sleigh ride and then a dinner at the ranch. What a great way to end the day. You can ski up to 3pm, then be entertained for the next six hours. The tubing is a blast, with their own private tubing hill. The sleigh ride is a nice break from... More
