Absolutely the best ski resort for families! Upon arrival, we signed both children up for ski and snowboarding school. My children are 6 and 10. They had never seen snow before this trip. By the time we left, my 6 yr old could ski the greens and my 10 yr old could snowboard down the blues. Not bad to two... More

Great resort! Everything is great, but down to earth and not at all pretentious. Kids ski school is well organized and staff is super friendly! I lost my gloves on the slopes, but they were returned to me by mail a few weeks after the season closed. Now, that's customer service!

A whole lot of great skiing. Free ski bus from most area resorts. Great old western town also a short bus ride away.

We rented a home in the Ski Resort and loved the area. Everything was just a short walk away. It was peaceful and so relaxing. A perfect mini vacation.

The Sheraton is a nice hotel in a great area. We were there in the summer and I suspect the staff was not running at full capacity as they do in the winter, so I really debated whether to go with a 3 vs. a 4, but ultimately gave this location the benefit of the doubt. Here's why: I had... More

Very diverse selection of bike rentals. Something for everyone in the family. They have trailers and tag-a-longs for young children that can attach to your bike for easy riding.

Stayed here week before Xmas 2013. Great runs, great snow, great facilities. Also free bus transport to and from resort and all over town. Have skied several other resorts in USA this is by far our favourite.

Hve gone to Steamboat for 2 years in a row and planning on a 3rd trip. The champagne powder is so easy to ski through. Since the mountain is so large, even during the Christmas week, the mountain did not feel crowded once you get past the morning gridlock at the gondola. Staff are very friendly. Kids lessons are great

This was my 2nd trip to Steamboat. I am an intermediate skier and others in my group were expert. The resort provides options for everyone. If you are an advanced skier I would recommend participating in their mountain tour program. I think they will take you to places on the mountain you might not find otherwise. Ski school is great... This is one of my favorite ski resorts, ever! In recent years they've been catering more to families and their ski school but they have some of the best snow around and cannot be beat! Have gone here from November to March and the snow is great at all times through the season! Do not miss the opportunity if you... More
