I love this mountain. There is something for everyone and I've never been nervous because it is too busy. The service is always great no matter where you are because it honestly seems like everyone enjoys their work. Great mountain.

We love this resort so much! We have been going here since our son was 1 year old. He is 17 now. He learned to ski here. The ski school is the best if you want your kids to learn to ski. Such an awesome and friendly resort!

Steamboat Springs has that wild west feel to it -- Not glitzy or overpopulated. Great skiing without the lines. It tends to get more snow and a drier, lighter kind of snow than most places in CO. I moved here a few years ago and love it! If you like live music, come off the slopes and enjoy outdoor concerts... More

Steamboat is a part of our lives, we're there every winter and can't say enough about the mountain, resort and mountain town. It's got real western charm and a old cowboy feel to it! Great for families, couples or friends! Truly a destination worth the effort to get to! Best skiing, weather in the trees, groomers or chutes, you have... More

Skied Steamboat for the first time last year and already booked for this season. Arrived a few days into some consistent snow fall and the snow is as advertised and more. My first three days were probably the best skiing I have had in 10+ years, then it got better. I took a group lesson. Within 30 minuets the instructor... More

I went here on my first ski trip to the mountains when I was a sophomore in college (2002). That being said, my memories may not be 100% accurate because of how long ago it was and because I spent a good portion of the trip drunk, high, or both. We had huge powder days every day that we were... More

Steamboat is perfect skiing / boarding in N America! Champagne powder nearly every day. it's a classic N American resort, so doesn't have the charm of Europe, but the snow is far better, so I'll accept that. And since they play rock music in the bars and cafes, rather than Euro-pop, it's a definite winner...
