Steambaot Springs is an easy destination for us as there are many direct flights from Houston to Hayden. It is a HUGE plus to avoid the flights into Denver plus the hours of hit or miss winter driving through the mountain passes. Although Steamboat needs to reel in their prices a bit for families if they wish to stay one... More

We had a blast this summer hiking, tubing along the yampa river & my young daughter had a blast for a day in the kids camp! They took them up the gondola, did nature hike, and learned about the plants & flowers. So much to do: fish, bike, or ride to the top for brunch or dinner

We come in the winter to ski and now we will be back every summer just to hang out. There are enough places that are open in August to make it worthwhile to stay at the mountain base. We will be back.

Possibly my most favorite ski resort! The snow really is special, it just sparkles. Lot's of terrain for those of different skill levels. I love riding the gondola. My husband preposed to me at the base of Steamboat so it will always have special place in my heart. I still haven't tried the night skiing, but I am sure it... More

After 10 years of skiing- first time to see it without snow! Absolutely gorgeous! Want to live there forever! Forget the snow!

Lots of hiking and biking options around the resort. Gondola rides to the top of Mt Warner. Stunning vistas and views. Just a few miles from Town center and attractions

This lil town in the Rockies is definitely worth the hassle getting to it...the mountain and town offer so many wonderful things to do regardless of the season...Winter is my favorite, but fall and summer are a close second!! Make sure to hit Slopeside Grill and Rabbit Ears Motel!!

It was the last gondola ride for the summer. There was food, drinks, and live music. The sunset was amazing! We will definitely do this next time we come back to Steamboat Springs. Then the next morning the ski hill was covered with snow. We could not have planned that.

We had a wonderful time at Steamboat Ski Resort this summer, which included dinner and dancing at the Thunderhead on top of the Gondola and mountain biking down the mountain on the ski trails made for bikes. Beautiful view at Thunderhead, with live music/ food and drinks on Sunday and Thursday nights. We absolutely loved it as a family vacation... More

Absolutely the best ski resort for families! Upon arrival, we signed both children up for ski and snowboarding school. My children are 6 and 10. They had never seen snow before this trip. By the time we left, my 6 yr old could ski the greens and my 10 yr old could snowboard down the blues. Not bad to two... More
