The hot air balloon festival attracted us for a September weekend; however, there is much to do in this area. Hiking, biking, scenic driving, and more. Snowmass/Aspen area is incredibly beautiful; just soak in the majesty of the mountains surrounding you. We bought a gondola package which included rides on the Elk Mountain Gondola, Silver Queen gondola in Aspen, bus... More

We have been coming to Snowmass Village for 40 years. I dragged my wife away from the beach 40 years ago and she has dragged me back to Snowmass Village almost every year since. Aspen/Snowmass has to be one of the top family destinations in the world. Its not just for the rich. You can have a wonderful family vacation... More

Wonderful event but transportation/parking was awful until we discovered the excellent shuttle. Good restaurants nearby.

Great snow and resorts. Lovely ski resort atmosphere, nice food in many restaurants. The ski school at Snowmass is fabulous. There is something for everyone at Snowmass and for all different level of skiers. Stunning mountain, wide slopes and almost have the mountain to yourself even when at peak times!

We have been to Snowmass many times --- both winter and summer. Although we love to ski, the summer is even more awesome. From mountain biking to hiking to evening concerts there is something for everyone in the family. And Aspen is right down the road. We had a car so there was no difficulty getting into Aspen but in... More

We came to hike and tour Maroon Bells and were quite pleased that the Village was hosting the Scottish Highlands Festival. Lots of activity and things to do and see, especially the free concert on Sat. night. We stayed at Laurelwood Condos near the Snowmass Mall. You could also take the gondola ride up to the top. Maroon Bells is... More

Whenever we visit Aspen we stay in Snowmass Village because it is less expensive. That applies to both the restaurants and lodging. Aspen is a short drive away so travel time back and forth is minimal.

I've been coming to Snowmass to ski ever since I was a small child and it's definitely my favorite ski resort! There are runs available for all levels, great food options on the mountain, and friendly service.

Maroon Bells is the most beautiful scenic place I ever visited...specially I liked the free shuttle service from Aspen highland to maroon bells. If you are going with young children or elderly grandparents -it will not be tough for them to visit this place....also after your visit you should stay in snowmass village which is a small scenic village with free...
