My teenage son learned to snowboard here and within two days of lessons was riding down the intermediate slopes. All levels can find great snow here, as opposed to Ajax (too advanced) or Buttermilk (more focused on beginners). Ski shops for rentals and purchases, restaurants, and awesome Treehouse kids center on site - ski in, ski out. The powdery snow... More

Snowmass has everything you need in one place; food, shops and views. I would recommend grabbing a cup of hot chocolate at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and people watch. The views are amazing!

Our first time on Snowmass usually ski in Europe. Great wide open runs with no queuing for chairs lifts or gondolas. Huge mountain range with great network of staff across the mountain. The volunteer ambassadors who offer free guide tours morning and afternoon is a great idea for people new to the mountain. As end of season some of the... More

Our family spent spring break enjoying the last week of the ski season at Snowmass. The weather was warm so only a sweatshirt was needed which was great because we all forgot our jackets anyway! It was icy up top so we stayed mostly at the mid-level and our kids are still learning to turn on snowboards so this was... More

The area is full of activities. The skiing is great for groups and families, as you have a lot of different terrain. There are a lot of restaurants and places to go year round. We love this place.

The size of Snowmass pays off late in the season when there is plenty of terrain to choose from. This allows you to chase the sun and hit different areas of the mountain as the snow softens.

We love staying at the timberline where we are feet away from the slopes. Ski in and out is the only way to go. Once you checkin at Snowmass, there is no need to leave. They have great restaurants and shopping for equipment as well as a new Clark's grocery store at the base of the mountain. We ski Snowmass... More

Were originally planning on staying in Aspen itself but am so glad we stayed at Snowmass. The mountain itself is huge and had a big variety of terrain. Ski in ski out is a plus as are the wide runs. We were lucky to get fresh snow and a beautiful sunny day in April! It may be late in the... More

We love the rental condos, the ski hills-so many runs, the hiking trails, the variety of restaurants, everything so close together, the outstanding service at so many levels, the commitment to recycling, the free shuttle buses within the village and to Aspen, the RFTA buses, the weather, the fresh air...
