The tour was awesome. We saw a lot of things and learned a lot of things. Thanks for the great time. We will come back soon. More

Ride in mine cars into the mine while wearing miner helmets. Allow about 2 hours. Guides, many of which were former miners will show and explain all the details of gold mining. Will show you the machinery used and will crank up one just to demonstrate the noise miners had to endure. Lots of history, fun, and will still keep... More

The tour guide was great when we went the year before but when we came back this summer we realized how much we spent on the tour last year and decided to skip it this summer. With prices at something like $20-$40 a person (I can't remember exactly) I was perplexed as to why we would have done it the... More

This was the first time I had ever been inside of a mine that was original and it was awesome. Our guide was Rusty and he was very knowledgable about the mine and how it worked. I was impressed about the information that we recieved. The tour was not long but it was worth it. Had a blast. PS, girls... More

This is an excellent tour and should not be missed. Our guide, Joe, was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He has a great sense of humor and does a wonderful job of describing what work was like in the mine. After putting on a rain coat and hard hat, you are transported deep into the mine. Joe led us on an... More

We don't usually write a review for an attraction already well reviewed, but this "gold mine" tour warrants an exception. You can believe all the great things the other reviewers wrote! Try your hand at panning, but it's doubtful you will find any gold. It's been almost 100 years since the last gold was taken from the mine. You can... More

We appreciated that this tour had a very real feel to it. You go into an actual mine and the tour guide operates the mining equipment as he explains what life in the mine was like. Very open to questions and not in a rush. Also provided useful information for other things to do in the area. More

Great experience. The guide was great and showed us how they used to mine from back in the day until current day. Our guide was even a retired miner. More
