Went for a day. It has everything you need. Is big and has different areas for different stuff. A room for cardio machines, another one for weights, some basketball courts and a big indoor pool with a very nice slide. The machines at the gym are very complete and they have all sort of classes as well.

Since it was raining my husband I decided to go to the rec center which is our rainy day fall back when we're vacationing in the area. My previous review was very positive and this one is also. Since we last visited, the cardio/weight and resistance training areas have been reconfigured and have mostly new equipment. Several of the new... More

We took our 3 boys here for a couple of hours. We were staying in Silverthorne from out of state. The boys enjoyed the indoor slides, playing basketball, and playing with balls and noodles. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub:) one of the slides required a swim test of 25 yards. I am glad they had this rule because... More

This Rec Center has the best playground in the world. Don't miss it if you have children 7 and under. Plus lots for older kids to do.

The clean, cheerful, well lit center just north of the outlet centers offers a variety of classes, 4 lane pool, vast kids pool area, and other areas I didn't experience. Their staff at the front desk were friendly and informative, answering all my questions as a day drop in. They also take Silver Sneakers.

My children have passes to the Silverthorne Rec Center and since we have such a long winter sometimes it's nice to go in for a workout, run or swim. It's nice to have a place to exercise out of the weather now and then. The staff is very helpful and the price is right. There is something to do for... More

Went to spend some time away from slopes and had a great experience. Pool area super warm, 2ft pool for younger kids was great and big. Two slides; one a drop slide that required a swim test for kids...our 7 year old passed fine. Other slide very fun, winds around and fairly fast current. One lifeguard. Large area overall, locker... I was here as part of an event. It's quite the place with an indoor pool (we were there in March with snow outside) that had a couple of small slides. They also have a full-size indoor basketball court. Nice place to get some exercise if you want to stay indoors.

Really well-equipped city rec center. Visitor rates reasonable for accommodations....weights, cardio equipment, pools, courts and clean showers. If vacationing, don't let your workout suffer...check this place out.
