Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Tram an easy ride even for those a might squeamish about heights. Outstanding views. Still snow on top in July! That was a pleasant surprise.

I stopped to stretch my legs at Monarch Pass on US 50 and spontaneously decided to zoom up the tram. The eight minute ride adds an additional 750 elevation gain from the pass, with absolutely stunning views on a sunny or partly cloudy day. The enclosed observation deck had panoramic photos with labels so you could identify which mountains you're... More

If you are traveling thru Monarch Pass and its a clear day - take the tram and your camera. Some of the best views at 12,000 ft. You can see Pikes Peak and all the mountains in a 360 degree view. Bring your jacket. We took great pictures and rated this one of our favorites on a trip across CO.

The drive up to Monarch is itself interesting. The day was totally clear, with every peak shown on the panoramas in the viewing area visible and super clear. Not many people taking advantage of the day. Quite windy - not a day to be out on the observation deck. Would be disconcerting to some but the cars are fairly close... More

I loved this adventure! My family came in from out of town, and told me about finding the tram online. I hadn't heard of it, but I thought it sounded like fun. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ride up the mountain was a bit scary because the wind was really intense that day. The views at the... More

It's going to be chilly as you take in views that stretch for a 100 miles!! The operators do a good job and keep you safe and the tram is always clean and well maintained....don't miss the gift shop while you are there and have your picture taken at the continental divide....11,309 if I remember right. It has a big... More

Our large family has been here a few times, and we all enjoy riding the tram up the mountain and the amazing views. It is a great way to spend 1-2 hrs. The gift shop is a great place for souvieers!

I could understand why America the Beautiful was written. What a view up at 12,000 feet. I am not very fond of heights especially while riding a tram, but I loved it and the view at the top. It was very windy when we visited and even snowed. Wow, Wow is all I can saw. You have to ride the... More
