We go to the pool frequently and it is now remodeled - air handlers, dehumidifier, and remodeled/painted locker rooms. We are very lucky to have a pool like this in Salida - it's the finest.

As a senior, I appreciate the availability of this community resource for my workouts in the lap lanes and different classes that keep me motivated and active. Staff members are wonderful, enthusiastic, and fun to interact with in a clean and well maintained facility.

Typically, when visiting hot springs my primary goal is to soak in warmer springs starting at about 90 - 95 degrees then going upward to 115. However, here the temps are barely warm around 85 - 93. Cooler hot spring experience that I found typical for a swimming pool versus hot springs.

What a place to spend a day. Set amongst amazing mountains & scenery this place with clear waters & blue skies is just what you need unwind. Slightly expensive when you add up everything then again what price can you put on the whole area & experience. Friendly & helpful staff on hand to answer any queries.

Nice place for a good soak.Very clean facilities, always a plus, Kid friendly. lockers for $1. I think it was $16 to get in and $2 for the towels. Hot 'soda' springs water with some minerals. The pool for laps seemed a bit cool around 96 or 97 degrees. The hot pool ( right around 100 degres has a couple... More

Since our earlier plans of the day were dashed against the rocks because of the rain and mishap in Leadville we ended up with nothing to do and nothing planned. It was raining outside and we weren’t sure what we could do. My oldest daughter, having her heart broken, by the earlier events of the day at Leadville, needed some... More

Went here with the grandkids and had a great time. The kids enjoyed the water slide and swimming. A bit pricey at $18 a day to swim, but the water is clean and the staff is friendly.

The big pool was good for laps. The hot part of the pool had too many children but did have a down spout area good for sore muscles....

The Salida Hot Springs is a nice local pool, but not what I'd expect from something called a hot spring. The pool is heated with water from Poncha Spings, which technically makes it so. That said, it's a nice pool with lap lanes, a small slide and an area for small kids. Smaller children are required to prove they can... More

The nice thing about Salida Hot springs is that it is indoors, which is good for a rainy day. The main area is basically set up like any indoor recreation center, A play pool for the kids and a lap pool for adults. So we opted for a private soak room which was enjoyable. We payed $9 each for an... More
