We were four, one of which had never rafted before, the others not for about 25 years, so we were a little unsure how this would go, but Tyler took great care of us. We took a half-day trip through Brown's canyon when the water was flowing at around 1,700cfm and had a blast! They called it class 3 but... More

After being off the river for almost 2 years as a relative beginner kayaker, I went searching for new water and a hand to hold getting back out there. A full day private kayak day with Kate was perfect. I came with a list and we went through it all. She was fun and easy to talk to, attentive to... More

What a rush! Climbing on the side of a 100 ft rock wall is AMAZING! The views of the river and surrounding mountains can't be beat! Ryan is a SUPER experienced guide, pushes you 'just enough' and is patient yet persistent. Learned a ton about climbing too! Will definitely return!

My girlfriend and I are avid Colorado adventurist. We took L1 and L2 Kayak classes this weekend as we wanted to get into white water kayaking. We were both experienced open water kayakers and we weren't sure what we were going to get from these classes. Short answer: ALot!!!! These guys exceeded every expectation we had. The staff was extremely... More

ROMC was great. The addition of climbing to our trip to Colorado was last minute and they fit us in. Ryan was a great guide and felt more like climbing at home with one of our friends. Will be using ROMC again if we make a return trip!

My 3 grown sons and I enjoyed several different excursions on our trip to Royal Gorge, but this one was our unanimous favorite!! Our guide was a young woman who was superb at her job. Two of us were not experienced at kayaking, but we all made it through the rapids without tipping because of her clear instructions and skill.... More

This little guide center is fantastic, the rafting trips are individual, the guide learns all the names of the people on the trip. They are not rushed and trying to take a bunch of rafts through at once and the guides are not some 18 yr old rookies that just landed a summer job. In our group was a woman... More

I can't recommend RMOC enough! Two of my buddies and I came down from Denver in mid-June to raft The Numbers, a world-class stretch of the Arkansas river. We were referred to RMOC through some folks who had used the outdoor company in the past - seriously, we couldn't have been more happy with the recommendation. "Snake" was our rafting... More

Our guide and also the owner, Brandon, was awesome. He was very calm the whole time through the raging class IV rapids, and never missed a move. We watched kayak videos at the outpost afterwards and had an all around blast getting to meet the guides! Safe and fun adventure through and through. Thanks RMOC!

The wife and I took level 1 and level 2 kayak instruction from RMOC on Saturday. Tommy was our instructor, and he was awesome. We spent the first half of the day with him on a private lake in the area. He taught us a lot of great stuff including how to wet exit the kayak, and lot's of strokes... More
