My friend and I returned to take a half day ride with Sue at Granite Mountain outfitters. Our guide was a very personable and capable young lady. We rode through the aspens and tall pines, found turkeys feathers and just had a wonderful experience. The horses are well trained and any horseman would be proud to own them. I would... More

We were not disappointed in our ride up through the mountain valley, past abundant wildflowers, and aspen groves to the mountain top. Our horses were well trained and healthy. We received thorough instruction on basic horsemanship prior to our ride, so we felt secure in our ride. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I would feel confident bringing my grandchildren... Sue is awesome. She told us many helpful safety tips before leaving. She took great care in putting everyone on the right horse. She was excellent with the kids & we all were able ti relax & enjoy the ride. It was beautiful country & VERY well priced. We have never had a trail ride for 2.5hrs that cheap &... More

We vacationed to Colorado from Boston for our 10th wedding anniversary and also to make sure we really wanted to move out west as we had been planning. We camped in Buena Vista and considered riding there, but we really wanted a sunset ride which the other place didn't have so we chose to go with GMO instead - Great... More

Very nice lady giving horse back tours. 1 hour was $70 for 2 people. Super gorgeous scenery through the mountains. Nice extra for our honeymoon. We were the only guests on the tour.

Had a wonderful time. Gorgeous ride. Sue was very attentive to children, called them by name. Gave us a great safety talk and was sure to point out information about mountains as we rode.

I highly recommend taking a trail ride at Granite Mountain Outfitters. The horses are in good shape, well taken care of, as are the guides! Sue is a lifetime dedicated horsewoman, and anyone who gets to meet her should consider themselves lucky. The ride is beautifully scenic, with incredible vistas, sagebrush, and Aspen groves - a perfect way to see... More

We did the 2.5-hour ride on a summer morning. I have to say this was the most beautiful ride I've been on. The views were spectacular. The horses were well-trained and we felt safe the whole time. We even had some excitement when the dog who went along on our ride chased a coyote! Compliments to our guide, Ann, who... More

On June 28th we took our family on a 1 hour ride in the mountains. The ride was incredible, the views were stunning, and the experience one that will not soon be forgotten. Sue and Stephanie were excellent hosts and took plenty of time and actually cared about our experience. The ride was informative and fun. We have small children... More

My family of four went on a 2.5 hour ride, and we can't stop raving about the experience. Sue was a pleasure to work with over the phone, and from the moment we met her it was clear she takes the safety and care of her riders and her horses very seriously. We went out at 8:30 am, and I... More
